Glock 20SF 10mm

Got one yesterday and went to the range this morning. Factory Rem and Blazer 200gr ammo is mild compared to my 40 S&W reloads so I am about to reload some 200gr Hornady HP/XTP in Rem nickle brass with CCI #300 LPP and 7.5gr of IMR 800-X.

Going to see if I can't generate some recoil. :hat:

I'll second the Double Tap ammo. Mike makes it as hot as you can stand it, very high quality in my experience too.

I love my G20, but I do wish it were the SF model. Not an option years ago when I got mine though!

I have the Glock 20 SF. I bought it for hunting and for backup sidearm while in the woods. I carry the Doubletap 180 grain controled expansion rounds. They have a goodly amount of recoil. Not unmanageable and deadly accurate. No doubt in my mind whatsoever that a mad wild hog or any black bear would succumb to this round

I just shot my Dad's 20sf last week with three types of facory bullets. Winchester Silvertips. Hornady 180 gr jacketed hollow points (XTP?). Double Tap 180 gr FMC. The Double Tap's were considerable hotter. The Winchester and Hornady were noticeably hotter than .40, though. I love that gun.
