Kimber vs Wilson 1911

I don't feel like quality wise you can compare a Wilson and a kimber... I'm sure of the price comparison, but from my experience, Wilson makes a tighter milled gun.

First, have you ever owned/extensively shot a 1911?

If you have and you love the platform and can afford the Wilson, then go for it, there is no comparison between a Wilson and a Kimber anything.

If you have not then you might want to pick up a less expensive 1911 like a Colt Government Model and shoot that for a while and make sure you like the platform before dropping a lot of money on something you may not like.

or like something in the phillipines... dont make your first 1911 purchase a 1k gun.

i was in Uselton in Franklin, TN checking out the indoor range for the first time. Saw some of his custom 1911s he makes. they looked very nice. Anybody have anybody have one. they weren't cheap... around wilson prices.

Ask Mr. Uselton who makes those guns and using what parts, then listen carefully.
