Awsome interview after Debate proving Ron Paul can Win

Recommended Posts

He'll never get the chance; in fact it's very doubtful that he'll even win the primary in his home state let alone the nomination...I've nothing against the man or about 90% of his positions on issues but he simply isn't pulling enough support to get anywhere...he's within a couple of percentage points of where he's always been every time he's run; I don't see thatchanging.

Funny that they said the same thing about Ronald Reagan when he was running. They said he had no chance to win the nomination let alone the presidency and looked what happened. Just saying.

I can't speak for everyone but when I state that "he can't win"; it's an observation, not a criticism of or an objection to him.

I support Santorum and I've been giving his campaign money even when anybody would would said (me included) the he probably couldn't win; at least based on his dismal numbers at the time.

I've been feeding Santorum money (and was giving two others as well) because of all the ones running initially; he was one of the three I decided I could support...once the primary is over, I'll vote for the last man standing because defeating the socialist IS the only thing that truly matters as far as the picking the next president is concerned.

This goes for me as well. I would love for Paul to get the nomination and I would vote for him. But if he doesn't I won't risk 4 more Obamas to vote for him on a 3rd party ticket. I don't think he can't win because Fox news told that to me. I think he can't win because I think he can't win. I see the world we live in, especially outside of the south. It's not as conservative as one may perceive while living here. I think he is too polarizing on too many issues and frankly his affiliation with Alex Jones is enough to NOT get him elected alone.

Only the brain dead Dems watch MSNBC and CNN. Ronald Reagan was elected President in 1981 at age 69 and was continually lambasted by the liberals as senile, and RP is 76 and not even close to Reagan in charisma and looks, and has appearances of senility. I don't believe there will ever be another 70 something president ever elected in today's Hollywood image world. Its too bad we live in a time of age discrimination, but that's the reality we live with today. Reagan had a foreign policy that every one believed in at the time, and most people laugh at RP's foreign policy. RP has a slim chance of getting nominated, but zero chance of beating Obumer.

I like a lot of what RP stands for, but his foreign policy just makes him a loser in today's world of ever present danger.

??? By the time March came along in the 1980 Primaries, President Reagan ran away with it. No comparison at all between Reagan and Paul that I can see.

Yeah...Reagan didn't win the nomination on his first run but yes, in 1980 he had no problems. In fact this is interesting...

...Ronald Reagan, meanwhile, had cruised to the Republican nomination almost effortlessly. He swatted off a challenge from George Bush, then named his rival as his running mate. (from the Miller Center; University of Virginia history of the 1980 primary/election)

And, fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have to read history books about it because I lived it...voting for Ronald Reagan twice was an honor but more importantly, it was great to fell GREAT about the United States and feel great about being an AMERICAN again - Ronald Reagan made us believe all the great things they taught us in school about our country (and which unfortunately they don't seem to teach any more). I don't mean to imply that RR was perfect but unless you lived through the Nixon then the Ford then the Carter years you just cannot know what it was like.
