As a forum, I thought it would be interesting to discuss thoughts on this video:

It's from a TEDx event. It's 16 minutes long, but I doubt anyone will watch it and want their time back.

I'll hold my thoughts until a couple of people weigh in.

Mac, thanks for this video. Very relevant. We had a power outage a while back and we decided to bust out the board games (me, my wife and 2 girls) We had a blast...then we built a "fort" from the couches / pillows and old sheets! now that was awesome....3 or 4 hours passed before we realized it and we finally all fell asleep. The next morning we talked about how much fun that was...and we have made that into a normal thing we do now. No phones. No tv. No computers or tablets. No XBox. No Wii. No DS.....just us! I do not want my kids growing up in a world where technology and or gadgets take over the family unit and their time together. Thanks again for sharing man.
