Need help with weapon light for home defense

There's lots of lights out there just as good if not better than surefire. They've just done a better job of marketing their name. Securing all those govt contracts didn't hurt either.

There are some great lights out there. The Fenix PD32 Ultimate is an amazing light for the price point. The Maratac AAA, likewise is one of the best lights I've ever put in my pocket (warning, if you follow the link, you're going to wind up spending $50. Don't blame me).


My maritac AAA failed on me :/ but it was great while it lasted, so I got a zebra sc52 and use a single 14500 battery in it , that light is worth every penny, 500 lumens on turbo mode and it will almost wash out my streamlight protac hl (600) lumens at less than half its size. the protac is my bed side light and will blind you to the point of seeing a large spot for 45 minutes after. (Yeah I am a dummy but I just had to see how effective it was).
