cz model 27? i have one as a ww2 souvenier it came from the grandfather that was in the europeon theater, it has the eagle standing on swaztica stamped into the barrel, so it was made while poland and prague where ocupied by the nazi's obviously. As far as i know i have never seen another one., i'll try to get some photo's of it.

The germans during WWII, occupied Polland and the Czech area due to their mechanized plants. The Czech's had (and still do for that matter), some of the best manufacturing plants around. The CZs were taken over by the Germans, in BRuno, I think. They made some of the finest weapons for the war. The famed CZ 75 was used by the Russian commandos and secret police for years after the war.

The also made great machine guns and explosives. (They still make Semtex) I was in Prague a few years ago and picked up one of the nicest and best made switch blade knifes you've ever seen, for 5 bucks. ( This was right after the wall fell and things were pretty cheap over there.)

Sounds like you've got a winner....
