Can anyone help me with some information about this knife? German Eye fixed blade marked: Carl Schlieper trophy line Guide Knife #356 Solingen Germany

The older "German Eye" knives were great... As i remember, they were carbon steel and built by Carl Schiepler in Solengen, Germany... They were around 40 years ago.... The first sod buster i ever saw was a "German Eye"; it was yellow.... Ive got several of the older pocket knives... They are well made and sharp....

 

I belong to this forum... Sometimes it helps; sometimes its a bunch of bunk...
