OK, so I finally got my plinking rifle, bought a scope and new stock for it, and I love it. Now to finish it off, I need a good magazine for it. I want something that will hold at least 25 rounds. Has anybody had any good experience with anything? any ideas of what to stay away from?

hey Joe, do you have one that can be used when you're on a shooting bench..and NOT using a bipod?

it seems to me that those long banana mags tend to get in the way.

the reason I ask is that my wife Julie has a 10/22 with a hammer forged barrel and a competition stock..I don't have a swivel mount on it or I would have already put a bi pod on it...and I don't have my workshop here to install one. can you pm me with a price quote for a Harris bipod (folding) and a side mounted sling? she's got a drag bag for it..but I want her to be able to sling it if she wishes to.

its a falgen synthetic stock (I think that's how to spell it.)

it's worth the trip to get it done at your place. :biglol: and I can do it on a weekend or get her to bring it out there to you guys on a weekend, while we're here in Nashville.

Tactical Innovations T125 mags are currently the best I've ever used. Their a bit pricey, but they are totally reliable. I've never had any problems out of the 2 I have and hae put around 1000 rounds through each one so far. The other side of the sotry is, they suck for shooting prone or off a rest, I have to stay with the 10 rounders for that.
