Anyone local customize Glocks?

Recommended Posts

Wondering if anyone knows anyone, or does themselves, here locally that does any kind of customizing for Glocks, such as stippling and slide serrations? Would like to do this to one of my Glocks. I have seen plenty of options online for this, but their lead times are pretty lengthy right now. Also would prefer not to mess with the shipping. Any info appreciated!

I took my G22 and made it's grip into the grip of a G27 . Turned out real nice. I just took my time one day while the kids were at school and worked out well. Most all mods can be done with a soldering iron or an "exacto-knife" .

Just think about what you want done and make some plans and slowly do it. You'll do fine if you go slow and dont rush.

Glock frame modifications are fairly simple if you practice on some inexpensive airsoft clones first. Basic tools needed are a Dremel tool or clone, wood burning pen, sand paper and round files. If its what you want then try it but be prepared to take a hit on resale/trade in price on your Glock. To a degree the same applies to a lot of the gunsmith modifications on Glock frames. If its what you want to do then go for it...Google Fu for shops and do your due diligence as I won't recommend anyone locally for this work.
