I recently purchased some 6.5 Grendel ammo from Alexander Arms. Its a project that our gunsmith and I here at Hero-Gear started on to develop an AR in this caliber. It appears to be a pretty good round and we pretty much found the barrels for a good price and everything else. We are just holding off until the ammo comes in because of one question, what kind of mags can take it? In anyone has any ideas or knows who has 'em it would be greatly appreciated!

Sabre states theirs is not available and does not specify if steel or other.

CProducts describes theirs as steel.

Midway describes theirs as both aluminum and steel as Junglist points out.

Advertisements that provoke the mental "hmmm..."

Or blame it on Google for not finding all steel 6.5 Grendel magazines. :-\
