Glock Extended Slide Release

Recommended Posts

I do believe glock calls it a "slide lock lever", not a slide release.

Using it as a slide release is WAY faster though, and most competent Glock shooters I've ever seen or been around use it this way.

I feel being able to use it or especially an extended one, as a slide release is a practicing/training issue - I used to not be good with it. Worked with it, trained hard - now its second nature, and that was coming off a CZ - which has a slide release prob close to 1/2" wide.

Pick up the Vickers/Tango down slide stop. It has a much better feel to it compared to the factory extended option.

Larry is an old 1911 guy and designed the part to have the shooter drop the slide with the support hand thumb like a 1911. Of course it can be operated with the strong hand thumb as well for those that prefer that method. Edited by GhostRecon21
