Finished another pair of 1911 grips

Figured i would show off the latest pair of grips i made for a co worker. Wood is Bolivian Rosewood.

I'm gauging any interest of maybe producing these for TGO members if there is any sort of interest. I can produce these out of most wood... cocobolo and rosewood are the most common. Each pair is unique due to the grain of the wood and the fact that their isnt any CNC milling involved.. they're hand made. So... they're not "perfect."

I havent learned checkering yet. Not sure on price yet.. though it will depend on wood availability and the kind of wood... not to mention labor.

Beautiful set of grips! Do you do any other types other than 1911? I have a CZ Rami that has a similar grip shape that I want a set for. :)

Great job! Ya'lls talents have me humbled.

Rugerman,

I've seen the grip panels on the RAMI .. on the gun. They dont look too difficult to replicate. I'd just have to look at them. Arent they just flat in the back like 1911 grips?
