I know two of them through my business. They are both great guys. Only problem is like most professions dealing with the public in an "authority" capacity, a few aholes mess it up for the rest.

+1 on the female RO is a royal f-king idiot. Myself and others have seen her give bad advice, butt into conversations that others are having about shooting advice (a "real" firearms instructor talking to a friend trying to learn and she wants to give her two cents for example), spout gun myths as the holy grail, etc, etc. Most of them are good guys, but there are a few idiots out there. Oh and Frank Maschoff was a RO out there also. Don't know if he still shows his face there or not.

Just to update, I will have Spike's Tactical and Yankee Hill Machine lowers at this show. They are both being delivered today by the brown truck of happiness sometime this morning. Tons of magpul stuff including mags, CTR's, PRS, and a UBR stock as well. See you all there.

SOG International in the last couple of dealer flyers I have gotten in are advertising used 14" Remington 1187's for sale for $599. 34" overall, 3" chamber, cylinder bore, extended mag tube for 6 rounds total, and adjustable ghost ring sights.

I have built several lefty uppers for you southpaws. Pretty easy and goes together just like any other upper. I am a Stag dealer and can order whatever you want (as long as it is in stock ), but all you really need is an ambi safety on a regular lower and add the lefty upper. They also have the ambi mag release, but it doesn't seem to matter really and it is expensive for what it does.

I don't put on classes per se, but if someone in the Nashville area would like a small get together in Hermitage, I can do a basic build class. I custom build uppers and lowers for customers and have several years of experience. I can also get into how uppers are put together along with installation of a free float installation. One of the SBR uppers I built will be in a future edition of Guns and Weapons for Law Enforcement for a guy in E. Tennessee. I built an almost identical one for Dickson PD SWAT. Feel free to holler at me with any questions. I am kinda restricted on time from 11 Aug until the end of the month due to military duty, but can set something up for interested parties. Make it a build type party/BBQ thing if that sounds good. My wife is in GA for a year for her psych doctoral internship with the VA so I am usually sitting around staring at the Great Dane beast so I am up for a change of pace.

The main thing to concern yourself with rail installation is it a free float or replacement handguard. Replacements are easy. Free float on the other hand involve minor surgery, so to speak, and the cost to do it through a gunsmith/armorer has to be factored in. I deal with Magpul, YHM, Daniel Defence, GG&G, Sabre Defence, and others. No LaRue though. They aren't taking new dealer accounts. I have some UBR's on order just as a side note, but they are trying to catch up on production so they are a bit hard to get at the moment. Most distributors are out of stock.

I want to say that AIM or one of the other surplus places had the 140rd SA battle packs for around $70 shipped IIRC.

I saw two guys walking around with Saiga's. It's not the dealers fault on either count. The Saiga's quit coming in the country for awhile. I just got an e-mail Friday from one of my distributors saying that they finally started getting some. By August hopefully they will be available in some quantity. As far as Kimbers go the only sell to dealers who sign authorized dealer agreements that require a certain sales volume and inventory. The shows are mostly smaller dealers that don't have the capital or the desire to maintain such large inventories of only one brand of gun. Therefore usually only the larger dealers have Kimbers and they usually don't go to the shows. I personally don't feel like having to operate under those restrictions for such small part of my business or to have that much capital tied up in a slow mover. I could be wrong but I think Hero Gear is a authorized dealer. Holler at him.

Well look for the ACU table covers and pegboard merchandise holders. One is full of Magpul mags and stuff and the other has lowers and uppers zip tied on them. I was by myself and couldn't get my banner up at this show. Give me a call if you can find me. I am on an endcap right across from J&T Distributing. About 3/4 of the way back towards the end of the 2nd aisle on the right as you come in. I will put one back for you if you want.

I have 3 standard Spike's left, along with Infidel and Punisher, and Flag lowers, along with Sabre Defence lowers. I think we can probably get the Reflex in your budget. Stop by and we can do some dealing. Too bad on the DPMS .308. I sold my last stripped AR10 lowers at the last show. I can order the DPMS .308's, but have been taking 2-3 months for them to come in. I have ordered and received (2) TAC-20's for customers in the last six months.

The ones with the laser engraving are $135, the standard Spike's are $120. The guy was talking to my wife, who is also a AR nut. I do custom builds for people also. Glad that I got to meet some of you. I was pretty busy, but always try to make time for BSing if I can. I should have Sabre Defence lowers again some time in the future. They are finishing production up on a run now. I was hoping to have them for this show but no joy.

My wife said some of you stopped by. I was busy transferring a lower for a guy. If you come by again hopefully I can stop for bit and shoot the breeze.

Depends on the type of lower. $120-$135 depending on what you want. The reflex is $300. It is like new with no box, comes with the polarizing filter, rubber lens cover and $100 mount.
