  1. I just picked up one that has the MSG-90 stock, HK wide forearm, HK bipod, HK claw mount, a ton of mags, and the plastic lower.
  2. Uh no...and my wife is a psychologist so now I have to ask her WTF cosplay is...and deal with the head shrinker looks she will give me... Thanks alot.
  3. Pm sent back with my #. I have all of the tools AND a vise. I have vices also but that isn't germane to this discussion....
  4. Shoot me a pm. I am at home after knee surgery and live in Hermitage with nothing else to really do at the moment. I have all the tools so it shouldn't take long.
  5. You could have checked the classifieds here also...
  6. I always go to the one on Massman Drive without any problems. They know me there now and one of the guys working freight I have sold stuff too helps, but I have never had a problem at the Massman location.
  7. I am in Nashville and can do almost anything you need done to a AR except barrel threading... Drop me a PM.
  8. Details man, details....
  9. Well a SBR would not come in as a title 1 weapon since it is a NFA weapon. According to the ATF, a unbuilt lower is considered a receiver only. There is also a spot on the drop down menu when you do the background check online that says receiver for weapon type.
  10. Sounds like we need a sticky!
  11. Congratulations, you just broke a federal law and maybe Alabama law if you did a FTF. You may buy a long gun from a dealer out of state at their shop, but not a handgun. You may NOT buy a gun of any type from a resident from another state FTF, whether they come to your home state or vice versa. All interstate transaction MUST go through a FFL. All intrastate transaction do not have to go through a FFL. If I buy a gun from Joe Snuffy in Memphis, he may mail it to me as an individual via USPS, UPS, etc. If I buy a gun from Joe and he lives in Huntsville, AL he must ship it to a receiving FFL here so I may pick it up there after completion of a 4473/BGC. People these same misinformed questions/responses come up EVERY MONTH!!!!! Go to the ATF website FAQ section. They answer all of these issues in a clear, simple, and concise manner (which is a rarity in .gov service).
  12. Maybe not FOS in a liberal manner, but they are interjecting their interpretation of what the law says or they are ignorant of the latest info. Sounds more like gun store commando talk.
  13. To clear things up. Title 1: New unbuilt/stripped AR lowers without a stock ever being installed is logged in the dealer's bound book and then transferred out as a "receiver" on a 4473. Once it is sold, the buyer may build it as a pistol or a rifle. This is even if the receiver is marked as a pistol or SBR or what have you. Doesn't matter they are just markings. This is as of last Nov 08 when the new 4473 took effect. If the buyer wishes to SBR/AOW (a pistol AR) it, then they fill out the appropriate form with the ATF. NFA items: If the lower comes in to the dealer as a SBR/AOW with the appropriate ATF for showing tax paid/exempt, then it is transferred on a 4473 as such upon receipt of the appropriate form showing tax paid to the buyer. Basically the dealers you are hearing this from are FOS.
  14. I will be looking for it. I assume you got the other paperwork I sent you off to ATF?
  15. And of course you take no responsibility in this at all by breaking the law (granted traffic law) in the first place that invited the man into your life.
  16. Actually the only one that violated the law is the OP. Everything else is just sandy mangina bitching.
  17. Get over it and yourself. You are showing a really crappy attitude and if you acted "anything" like you are acting now, I can see why the officer would have felt the need to secure the weapon. The officer did nothing illegal, you got your gun back, be done with it. You are acting like a child not getting it's way. Chill out.
  18. I am in the Nashville area. La Vergne to be exact. I have done lots of transfers for several members on TGO. $50 for suppressors.
  19. All you have to do is look at the Frank Maschoff / ETS Inc fiasco to know that these thieves committing fraud almost never get punished.
  20. Or not even waste your time with their worthless chief in the first place. Hell he shot and killed another officer years ago and is still a cop so why should he listen to someone bitching about his PD's signage?
  21. While I dissapprove of OC, in my experience someone carrying a handgun in a holster is probably legally carrying and would not warrant under most circumstances being asked for a HCP. Stuck in a waistband is just asking to get stopped though.
  22. The story is a little confusing on one point that no one has pointed out. When they went back to the gas station, did the clerk directly tell the LEO that did the stop, or did he call dispatch about the screwup he committed with the credit card? The reason I ask is that besides getting a story second hand from the friend, if the clerk told dispatch (which we have no timeline on btw) and not the officer, then the LEO is acting on the last good information he was given, which was a gas drive-off it seems. Therefore I can see a case where the LEO is investigating a crime, and not just a simple traffic stop. Just wanting clarification.
  23. OC where posted might have been a better way of looking at it.
  24. Go Gators!!! Big surprise. Another win over the Volunturds. Actually I care less about sports in general, it's just fun to rile up people sometimes.
  25. Short of using a TASER, hand held "stun guns" are worthless. The instructors at the state police academy in Oklahoma did a test where the instructors on their own dime went out and bought a sample of every type of non-LE type zappers they could find. Then they used them on each other and catalogued the results. Long story short, none of them were worth a crap. Most of them just caused small burns and just pissed off the zappee. Worthless for self-defence. Get a good pepper spray instead like has been stated.
