:stir: Thats funny, cats really?

Very good article, I teach this to my students, you would be suprised as to how many actually never think about their surroundings. Some call it paranoid, some call it aware, I call it safe.

Funny thread here. I have owned both. I like both and I have carried both. I carry a Glock not because its prestigious but because its practical to me, but again thats just me. I feel like whatever gun fits your hand and you shoot well is the gun you should choose. Whether it be a 1911, glock, or a Marlin Camp 9. To each his own, and Im not going to argue about what gun is better or what caliber is better.

Im glad to see others sit around and ponder scenarios like I do. That's a tough call and I have often thought about a similar situation. Mine is always the grocery store or gas station with the same scenario. I feel like we really never know how we will react in that situation. My heart of hearts tells me to POP the dude and ask forgiveness later but Idk. This may sound horrible but if its the store clerk I might be less inclined to bust the dude, if its my wife or one of my three kids, that's when it gets ugly real fast. Bluewater Tactical Defense

I actually have thought about the conversion thing. You all make good points. If I build my own AR I think I have it figured to be about $609.00, Olympic Arms Complete upper, $520.00 and Spikes lower $89.99 plus shipping of course. I never really thought about running out of ammo, within the next few weeks I will have 2k rounds of .40, I suppose in a SHTF senario that might go quick.

Wow, that's cool.

Anybody read any of his books? The Revoluton: A Manifesto and Liberty Defined are great reads and really explain his ideas in depth. -

This ^^^. I will agree he has some different outlooks and solutions to problems, but thats what makes them good, THEY ARE DIFERENT FROM THE NORMAL EVERYDAY BULLCHIT we hear and have heard. So much crap is rammed down our throat. It doesn't matter anymore if your a Rep or Dem, they are all just puppets. Rick Perry, Michelle Bachman, Mit Romney same ol' different face. If more people would educate theirselves (like MOST TGOers do) and not let the media educate them, then the country would be better off. -
So Im arranging everything for the SHTF or TEOTWAWKI senarios. I am thinning the herd to have Glock .40 cal, since I recently came across some magiazines. Im not at all well off by any means so Im not looking to spend a GAZILLION dollars on (a) one gun. So here is my collection, I have a G27, G23, and working on a G22, and along with these guns I have 10-12 standard glock magazines (cant remember off hand) and 2 31 round Victory mags. I have seen where Kel Tec, EMF, and Olympic Arms makes carbines/AR that will accept glock mags. Any others I missed? Also Mech Tech Systems makes an upper (if you will) for the glock pistol. If your following me here Im wanting to have all the same mags and ammo for all my guns, just makes since to me Im asking yall for any advice on a carbine in .40 thats accepts glock mags that yall would have. Now don't go giving me , lol. Just give me your opinion and maybe some advice that I might need. I'm ready, let me have it.

Sorry for your loss Glenn. I lost a dear friend this week too. Very hard I must say. Keep your head and remember if you have been married for 22 yrs then she did something right in raising her daughter. I thank my mother in law daily for my wife. I too have a wonderful mother in law. I wish more people did "an armed society is a polite society". I carry because I have been in 2 situations in Memphis where a gun was pulled on me, never really felt comfortable after that. So now I carry and teach the classes. I think all americans should get their permit and carry, get the education and training and carry for the protection of yourself and family. I hate to say it but I foresee the nation becoming more and more chaotic and just down right MEAN. Bluewater Tactical Defense

Does it ever end? A long time friend and co-worker has succumb to the horrible disease called cancer. He was a dedicated husband, father, and friend. He loved his job and was dang good at it. Lawrenceburg FD will not be the same without Kenny Rhinehart. This man truly showed others around him what was important in life, GOD, family, and friends. Sometimes I feel as tho there is a cure, but the GREED has taken these people by storm, they had rather watch people waste away to nothing and I mean nothing for their pleasure of having money. I just wanted to share this with y'all since he was a avid hunter and outdoorsman, one of the best men I have ever been around, (im not just saying that as a cliche either). R.I.P. Kenny Rhinehart, see you when I get there brother. Brothers for life. Bluewater Tactical Defense

Our Family Dog passed away yesterday afternoon
BluewaterTactical replied to Armed Aviator's topic in General Chat
Terry sorry to hear that. We had a dog pass away about a year ago and still feel the effects of it. I have 3 children and a wife, and we have tried to get other dogs to replace him but with no such luck. You know he thought I was superman and while writing this it pains me. Take it slow and you will find another one one day. Again sorry for your loss. Bluewater Tactical Defense -
Yeah I watch him, we actually had a deal going on a LCR I had for sale. We pm'd back and forth, seems like a really nice guy. His long shots with his G27 are pretty cool. Bluewater Tactical Defense

Just wondering... why so much on zombies on gun boards?
BluewaterTactical replied to Under-No-Pretext's topic in General Chat
^^^ This is great, I also have told the same story. I too was wondering what the zombie stuff was about I kinda figured it was the SHTF stuff but never really read into it. So if I have designed a plan and actually went over it with my family (we do SHTF drills) does that mean Im in the click and get apic bumper sticker and a patch? So at our firearms school should we set up a curriculum for this subject matter? That would be awesome. Bluewater Tactical Defense -
Anyone Carry Multiple Firearms?

EDC for me is my Glock 27 IWB Galco KING TUK, and I have a BUG 75% of the time which is a Kel-Tec PF-9. -
Also try the Galco KING TUK. Galco King Tuk Holster FREE S&H KT158B, KT212B, KT218B, KT224B, KT248B, KT440B, KT472B, KT225B. Galco Concealed Holsters. . I tried a crossbreed and didnt care for it. This is very very comfortable and a lot cheaper than a crossbreed.
