I just got one of these. The QC leaves a little to be desired. Lots of extra plastic from the molds and such, and the one I got the trigger mechanism was jammed.   But, once I got that working and made sure the primer drop holes were drilled out it works fantastically.

Pfft, you better, the way those things breed we would be overrun in seconds.

I hope to be there, it all depends on other plans though.

  I am referring to extra power magazine springs. When the M&P auto-forwards it is usually because you slammed the mag in pretty solidly, And with the stock mag spring the rounds will sometimes drop down (inertia) and cause it not to strip the first one. By using a heavier mag spring it keeps it from dropping and allows the first round to chamber normally.   This has nothing to do with recoil springs.

Once I added the extra power spring it was 100%. But before that it was about 50/50. Sucked when it didn't go.

  Get the extra power mag springs from SSS and it will fix that.

I stopped jumping when we found out my wife was pregnant. I had just passed 2K jumps at that time.   Very few of the planes I jumped out of were in bad shape, but I can certainly say that none of them were "perfectly good"   Except maybe the biplane. That thing was cherry.

1 and 3 that Chandler states are my biggest hangups.    I'm still going to shoot IDPA, but right now I am pretty annoyed with HQ.

Mt. Juliet has some of just about everything. Not quite as well stocked as Cool Springs though.

Very fun, and as noted steel can be VERY humbling. Kind of the theme for the weekend for me though. I am now very very humble LOL

Great choice! And now you have the gear you need for IDPA! :) BTW, you will love the feel of the trigger once you get it broken in and the DCAEK installed.

I relegated the Tula primers I ended up with to practice ammo only because of this. My M&Ps cant stand them, and there are some seating issues which I believe are related to inconsistent sizing of the primers. I get about 20:1 failures on first try, but most will ignite on a 2nd or 3rd attempt.

This is a great match. Unfortunately I will be missing it this year. Have fun!
