  1. Of course that law is assuming they have 2 nickels to rub together after they lose. :-)
  2. I'll have to look the next time I am up there but I think i recall seeing it posted on a sign when you walk in. Not sure who you are referring to when you say security guard but the person I talked to is a friend of mine from high school that is on the Airport Police Dept not TSA or the parking guard walkng around outside. They are LEOs just like any other police dept. If i remember right the sign is posted at the entrance to the door and it basically says that weapons are banned expect for ones in checked baggage. Can't remmeber the exact verbage though.
  3. 100% agree but non the less still a hassle.
  4. It was in the summer of 06. Basically he said if you shoot someone whether justified or not you can plan on getting sued by either the person or the family. He said most likely it will get dismissed if it was justified but you will incur some cost for your defense. That being said that was before this later law. Despite the law change though I would expect to still have a suit filed against but it sounds like you are better protected legally.
  5. When I went through my HCP class this was discussed, he said you should expect to get sued. Doesn't mean you will lose though.
  6. Depends on the airport. Nashville you can't carry even in the ticketing area. The airport is like any other business that can restrict firearms.
  7. Handgunlaw.us seems to have pretty up to date carry info for all 50 states. It should be used as a reference only as it could contain errors. If there is a question each state should have their carry laws posted.
  8. Not really a fan of them but a bellyband is an option. worn under the shirt and easily accessible.
  9. I didn't realize BP had such good pricing on Winchester WB .40. 10% off 15.99 is better than WalMart ever thought about having. edited: NM i thought both those boxes were 100pk but the .40 was only 50.
  10. Good. Can't wait for it to get here. It's like Christmas all over again.
  11. Well I got my holster ordered after alot of looking. Problem I have found is there are not too many holster (other than generic fits) that are made for my PT-140Pro. Really wanted a Blackhawk but they do not have and do not intend on making one for my gun. Finally found one though at Comp-Tac. It's the adjustable cant paddle holster. I also ordered the belt attachment so it can be worn as an SOB also. Anyone else here use their molded holster as well?
  12. yeah they will. you can only purchase online. I was going to buy some bulk ammo from them but decided to start reloading instead.
  13. I have the PT-140Pro. I love it with one exception. There are not alot of holsters out there for the pro model. Love the size for concealling. Shoots great. Put probably 2000rds plus through it and no problems. Just my opinion but I would consider something larger than the 9MM if you are going to carry it.
  14. Check natchezss.com. Good prices when buying bulk. They are in chattanooga but will not allow pickup locally unless you are a dealer.
  15. If you are looking for .40 rounds, I found some 155 gr lead rounds. Ordered 2500 for 114 shipped. Found them on gunbroker.net. Seller was Silver-Star. After I won my first auction he let me buy directly. If you email him he probably will sell to you direct also. Has other calibers also. email address is geraldallred@msn.com.
