  1. $59 is a fair price $59 for 150rds = 39cents a round. That seems to be a little below average price than the mail order places for re manufactured or surplus ammo. $32 for 150rds = 21cents per round...needless to say I am happy.
  2. I love it! I signed up for one of those Dicks score cards a while back. So I get a 10 dollar certificate every time I spend 50 bucks. We bought some camping gear a while back and signed up for the score card to get a discount, and they sent me a 10 dollar certificate and a 15% off card for signing up. Well I got a 150 rd box of ammomax .223 that was priced at $59 for $32 Sweet ! cant wait to get more of those certificates.
  3. Round here its Crowders being the highest, followed by Mahoneys. The better ones seem to be Gunslingers and The Gun Rack. Though I had to laugh in Gunslingers last week...They actually carry those stupid CCW Badges!!
  4. You don't need a plastic (Kydex) holster... you need a plastic wheelbarrow!!!
  5. That major sucks. Well old man + expensive SUV + stupid move = a sizable settlement to the lawsuit that will fund several new firearm purchases!
  6. WTF was a loaded firearm doing on display??????? The dealer was an idiot for letting it happen. The customer was an idiot for not double checking the dealer. The first thing I do when I handle any firearm is a brass check! Especially if I want to feel the trigger.
  7. I don't think the IOC should allow the games to be held in any country that is communist and anti human rights. They should be globally shunned, no trade, no aid, nothing.

    trespassing

Hell I have a sign on my front door that reads "3rd shift worker do not knock. In the event you are too stupid to read the mail box this is 359 not 373!" The only people who ever knock are the morons at the Sullivan County Sherrifs Office that apparently cant read.
  9. I think the most mall ninja thing I've ever seen were these 2 idiots at the Cherokee range in Unicoi. They claimed to be security guards for NFS (Nuclear Fuel Services) there practicing to qualify. There are 3 lanes 50ft 50yd and 100yd set at 45deg angles so you can change targets while the other lanes are firing. But the 50ft and the 50yd were occupied so these bozos drove their own target holders into the ground about mid way down the range and shooting from a position about 30ft forward of the firing line. Its fine to go down and change targets as other shooters will most ofter stop shooting as a courtesy but these fools laid there the whole time. A buddy of mine finally got tired of this and ws shooting blackpowder so he double loaded with a wad only and cut loose a kaboom that got their attention and persuaded them to go the hell home.
  10. If I'm not mistaken one of the owners of Coal Creek Armory was roughed up by some idiot KPD cop who used to be an Ohio cop. Once he found out that it was perfectly legal he threatened to make up a BS charge like inciting panic or something. The victim got nothing more than an apology from the Chief of Police. If any of us were to go to court and say "I didn't know it was against the law" the judge would promptly advise us that "ignorance of the law is no excuse" The same should apply to cops They weren't enforcing a valid law so they they were not acting in a capacity as a law enforcement officer and should be charged as civilians with assault and battery, unlawful detention, and then both them and their department sued.
  11. I bet ya this guy has one lol...I typed in mall ninja into google image and hes the first one!
  12. Looks like all but 2 croaked because of our moron speaker Jimmy Naifeh.
  13. Johnson City Walmart was 19.47 for WWB 9mm OUCH! I went to Dicks and got Remington UMC on sale for 10.00 a box. 45acp was 15 a box. Shoot anyone remember when you could buy a Norinco SKS and a CASE of ammo for 100 bucks... and that was when I lived in Maryland.
  14. Yep sure is... I live behind Tri Cities Airport and those damn helicopters have been keeping me up all day!! I work 3rd shift!
  15. I agree with most get good quality training. Oh and it is not a concealed carry permit, it is a Tennessee Handgun Permit. There is no law in TN that says you have to carry concealed though it is a commonly accepted practice.
  16. My preference is a 22oz framing hammer. When I was a cable contractor it never failed a large dog would show up barking mad at the bottom of the pole I was on. Well it doesn't take a Norton Bomb Sight but drop a well aimed hammer and they run with their tails tucked.
  17. Dont try water either...Big BOOM! You should see an old VW bug go up in flames the blocks were Magnesium it would take a while but it would eventually catch. The stuff we used to put it out with was called Purple K it was pretty cool stuff.
  18. I found these pics in my Photobucket from a past post on thr. It is a S&W 39-2 customized by ASP in the early 80s I believe. It was my Grandfathers off duty carry gun until his passing and I inherited it. So it is a little dinged and scratched but still works flawlessly. I would love to find someone who could properly restore it one day.
  19. Just wrote Ramsey and Mumpower who are my reps in the house and senate to vote for it.
  20. ditto on Eastman. The one here in Blountville is posted but the signs aren't properly formated. Concealed is concealed. What I dread is when they start that stupid **** like the banks up in Baltimore, they have 2 sets of entry doors with a metal detector in between if the detector trips both sets lock causing you to be trapped between.
  21. In allot of airports it is legal up to the security screening area After that a big no no.
  22. My employer has started placing no weapons signs all over the building with wording like "prohibited on all company grounds including parking areas. Regardless if a person is licensed by their state to carry weapon or not." Question 1:Can an employer legally search your vehicle in TN? Question 2: any advice on how to make or where to buy a false compartment that would be easily overlooked during a brief search? The policy has always been this way but not enforced. We were bought out last year by a much larger company based unfortunately out of Chicago and they are advising us it will be strictly enforced.
  23. Kentucky Longrifle .445 roundball over 70gr FFFg primed with FFFFg
  24. When I was fresh outa High School I worked for a tool rental company. I was delivering propane tanks to a construction site in Baltimore City for a couple weeks. I was used to blowing off panhandlers and squeegee kids. I usually did what I could to avoid them. One day an older homeless guy asked me for a buck while I was getting a hot dog from one of the street carts. He wasn't pushy or anything so I told him half the people bumming money just turn around and buy drugs with it, but if he wanted something to eat I would cover it. That guy and I had lunch every day for several weeks. I guess my point is many see them as vermin or a threat. But some are good people that are down. This guy was a homeless vet who had been tossed aside by the VA system as well as been through a messy divorce where the woman got the works. He had all kinds of pictures of his kid.

    .357/ .38?

Yep what they said. My wifes first gun was a .357 rossi that I taught her to shoot with .38s and moved up to .357 you can also shoot 44spl from a 44mag... I think so double check 454cassul and .410 shells from a .45colt there are several interchangeable guns and rounds. Just make sure you read up first so you dont have a KB
