  1. Picked up this from somebody on the cheap. Hopefully I can restore her to all of her glory. I will finish taking all of the paint off tonight. Planning on sending it off to get nickel plated.
  2. I'd like to see more reviews before I order.
  3. So I decided to go with the EOTech 553 (I believe that's the model. Oh well I love it and I love it with the flip up 300m peephole to co-witness. Next up: Grip Sling Laser Flashlight Whoever made all these accessories, I hate them all!!!
  4. It's not my daly driver and I'm hardly on any campus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have one of these in the Corvette but nothing in the hummer. This isn't my exact set up but mine is close.
  6. 13th Colony Corn Whiskey
  7. Yeah that's the main objective. I have it sitting out so I want the box to be just as nice :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Just picked up my first AK, it is also a Century.  No complaints.  Congrats!!!
  9.   Ah thank you sir!   I might buy a new box since this one is a little beat up.
  10.   I want to shoot it so bad but I would have a lot of remorse after that.  I did read it was real gold plated in certain areas... Not buying it.  Anymore information on this gun would be great.   This guy had no remorse...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEwypYGRoho   Yeah I walked in saw it, continued to shoot and then couldn't resist.  I wasn't walking out without it.   Edit:  Actually found an article that gives me a little more information I guess all the information the gold/silver is real.   "The wings and body of the eagle are engraved and etched in 24-karat gold, and the head is in silver by craftsmen commissioned specifically by America Remembers for this Tribute."
  11. All I really know about the 1911 is that it is a "M1991" but not sure of the year produced.  I can't seem to find too much info on them.  It is unfired and I feel like I got a really good deal on it.
  12. Since I got the M4 I thought it needed a friend... Then I felt like a communist... so this came home after shooting the an AK47 for the first time (which I loved)
  13. Congrats! I just got my first AR recently. Cheers!
  14. Thanks, looks like these will be purchased in the near future. Thanks OS.
  15. I think I know what you mean... I know I'm not going to be using the fore grip as a "grip" but will be using it to triangulate and feel balanced (I believe this is what you meant, I apologized this is a very new field for me).  I tried the angled grip it was not as comfortable for me.  Some friends of mine swear by them though.     Do you use optics on yours or iron sights?  Any input here?  Thanks!
  16.   Yes very exciting and busy times (I hear it gets worse haha!).  Yeah I was not too sure of where to put the fore grip, this does feel comfortable where it is but I am going to try moving it around and see what suits me best.
  17. Well I had a major delay of posting pictures and doing anything with the rifle from graduation and getting ready to move to Columbia, SC for my job... Anyway, here she is, finally (Which it is the LW version and I did not include that in my first post). With magpul fore grip, Daniel Defense front sight (fixed), and Knights Armament rear flip up. I love the way this gun feels with the grip and can not wait to go shooting with it this weekend/early next week. I will be sighting it in and buying an optic. Which that is still up in the air, between the Aimpoint RDS and the EoTech. I really want quick disconnects and I found out some EoTechs have them. Crappy phone pictures.
  18.   Ha I just want to hold it, I should have it in a week or two!
  19. I swear I'm only getting one!
  20. I said I would not get into ARs blah blah blah... now I have a Daniel Defense V7 on the way, 5.56.  I am so excited and so very green when it comes to these types of guns.  What really sold me is I did not want a composite lower, the modular rail seemed very appealing, and it feels good to hold.  The actual gun I looked at today was one of the co-workers weapons on display.  I don't even know how to take it apart, as of now, but will watch videos to kind of learn.   The accessories I was looking at: foregrip aim point RDS with the base and quick disconnect (I think all of this information is correct or the right terminology, correct me if wrong) flip up sights (haven't looked at brands)   Any other information/tips would be great!   Cheers!
  21. I remember some lady tried to "correct" my dad when I was younger, he was not near as nice as you.
  22. That's what these things were built for right?
  23. I wouldn't trade my iPhone 5 for any phone on the market. No problems.
