  1. Exactly . . . and Lieberman may lose . . . "You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away, know when to run . . ." Lieberman just didn't know when to walk away or run . . .
  2. Lieberman reached his heights as a Democrat. He ran for Vice President of the United States as a Democrat. He said he was an "independent." Yet he spoke at the Republican National Convention in favor of a Republican against the party that ran him as Vice-President. And Republicans would have acted differently than Democrats if one of their own took the same course? I don't think so . . . Lieberman should simply declare himself as a Republican and be done with it. The only thing in the middle of the road are white lines and dead possums . . .
  3. True . . . Lieberman tried to play both sides against the middle, and may lose. I just wish he would declare himself as a Republican.
  4. Please tell me what major Republican senator supported Obama?

    Jew Jitsu?

    Nope . . . just looking at the realities here . . .

    Jew Jitsu?

There is a message here for all of us if you think about it . . . Even though we say we agree on certain things, we still allow things to separate. Isn't it time for all of us to focus on what makes us stronger than what suggests our weaknesses? Just something to think about . . .
  7. I went to Guns and Leather today to shoot at their great range, and folks were waiting at the door to get in and buy guns! BTW . . . I shot really well for all of you that want to know! LOL
  8. Sorry, but I disagree. Lieberman was - or considered himself to be a Democrat - and even ran as a Democratic VP candidate. Does he have the right to support John McCain? Of course he does! But should he expect to remain as a Democrat and have the same priveleges as a Democratic leader if he supports a Republican? OF COURSE NOT! The most honorable thing Mr. Lieberman should have done was to have become a member of the Republican party. Let's face it: just how many of you would have been as equally supportive if a major Republican senator supported Obama???????????????????
  9. WYOMING????? Heck, I didn't know Wyoming had a football team! So has the team given up since Phil is taking a powder? Geeze . . . Comments??????????????????????????????????????????????
  10. In all seriousness, congrats on a great weapon!!
  11. Will do mine in person when my wife goes in to make her initial app for her HCP
  12. Well said, sir . . .
  13. What I love about this site . . . so many knowledgable opinions . . .
  14. Great opinion . . . just wanted everyone to know all!
  15. It is now 6 months before I renew my HCP, so I'm getting ready to start the process. If I renew by mail, I have to send a certified copy of my birth certificate. If I renew in person, do I have to show the certified copy or do they keep it? If they keep it either way, I'd rather just do it by mail. Thanks for the feedback!
  16. Just read two articles online about the "hysteria" about Obama's election driving up the prices of ammo and firearms. THE MAN HAS NOT BEEN INAUGURATED YET! GIVE ME A BREAK! Like the "fear" of not enough gas led us to be dry in Nashville a few weeks ago, it seems that the "fear" of what has not yet happened has driven some in the firearms industry to make money based on "what might happen." If Obama WAS president and HAD said something about going after guns, I could see it. But now??????????????????????????
  17. Verbal . . . unless your religious person ALSO has training in diagnosis of psychological issues, the average clergyperson may not have the training to offer the information you suggest. I am both an ordained minister, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. My licensure as a counselor gives me the ability to offer the feedback you suggest. Most ministers, unless they have had special training in diagnosis and treatment issues may not be able to offer a qualified opinion.
  18. Thanks, my friend. I just enjoy the chat so much!
  19. Very kewl!
  20. Sorry . .. not criticizing . . .just wanting all to know when folks might be there
  21. Do we need to publicize when the chat room is open? Would be good if there were regular times we all know about.
