  1. Is there a way to find information on military service records online? I was wanting to track down my grandfather's (since deceased) records from WWII.
  2. Works for me!
  3. Cool! I Did'nt know Noveske used it in their rifles!
  4. +1 on their mil surp. I stop in every once and a while for a pair of BDU trousers (everybody needs a pair or two, you know), and I don't think I've ever seen them priced over $15.
  5. Yeah, that's why I machine all of my bullets out of titanium bar stock with my 6-axis CNC... Yeah, I think I remember reading that Magnum Research used it too... also Kahr if I'm not mistaken.
  6. Supposedly better accuracy and longer barrel life... those crazy krauts.

    My New USP9c

It was 745 after a little haggling.
  8. That's all kinds of WIN.
  9. Ha, or maybe "All Infidels pass on left ONLY":tough:
  10. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=army+surplus+nashville&btnG=Google+Search&aq=0&oq=army+surplus+nas
  11. Yep, polygonal rifling. I don't understand exactly why that makes cast bullets a no-no, but I know squat about reloading and ballistics...
  12. Nice! I eyeballed that thing when I was there last week, but went w/ a USP9c instead. I'm fast becoming a sucker to HK too.
  13. I quickly googled "Bushmaster", "Smith and Wesson", and "TN Gun Owners", none produced the warning for me.
  14. Any interesting use for these things, aside from dead hooker storage, is off the grid hot water in the warmer months. Simply spray one of these things down with a nice coat of flat black spray paint, fix it up with a nice high placement in order to give it plenty of sun during the day (and provide the gravity for the water pressure), and rig yourself up a spigot and you're good to go.
  15. LMT is .
  16. Used to be I carried 15 in the G19, didn't bother to put an extra one in the mag after chambering a round. Now, w/ the USPc I carry 13+1. I keep a spare mag in my car, or my saddle bag if I'm on my bike, and sometimes in my coat if it's cold, but I'm not in the habit of carrying an extra mag in on my person... maybe I should get on that.
  17. I personally prefer the 870, but considering the $$$ savings one gains by going w/ the Mossy, I can't say my next won't be a Mossy 500.
  18. Ok, so I had my G19 for sale recently, and someone in Chattanooga (a member who had signed up THAT day), committed to buy my pistol assuming I would meet him halfway to Chattanooga from Nashville. I wasn't down for this. I sold the pistol to another forum member. Am I screwed out of getting feedback for this item now, or is there anyway for me to "un-commit"? For future transactions, is there anyway to make the committing procedure two-tiered? Where as a seller has to approve a buyer's committment?

If you decide to go w/ the SW99, I think CDNN had some smoking deals on the .40cal SW99 a few weeks ago, might still...

I'm thinking I might try one of these for the Super Bowl... what do you guys think, should I toss some shredded cheddar on top, or roll some up in it?
