  1. It was definitely a shocker. The first shot I fired jumped up on me.
  2. And all I can say is wow. This thing packs quite a punch and is incredibly loud. It was actually pushing the target backwards on the track with every hit. I'm pretty impressed with what such a small round can do. My buddy who doesn't like anything but 45's tried to convince me that the 357 sig was wimpy and shouldn't be carried. After this experience, I can definitely say I would never feel under armed carrying anything chambered in 357 sig.
  3. I know you're being sarcastic, and it's pretty sad that the Supreme Court actually ruled that the police have no duty to protect us. No offense to police, I personally know some great ones. I'm just tired of people that think we shouldn't own guns just because we have police. I get that argument a lot.
  4. I'm sorry I'm not much help, but from what I noticed none of my local shops ever seem to keep the gen 4s in stock. They always have the Gen 3 but they don't seem too worried about keeping any gen 4s around.
  5. Where do you order these from? I don't need the 22 or the 17, but I would like some 19 and 23. Edit-I'm slow today. I see now. I only see the 4th gen mags on there for what I'm looking for. I'd prefer the 3rd gen mags. I know the 4th gen works in the 3rd gen, but I like to keep everything gen specific.
  6. All the people I've met up with brought someone along, as did I. I wouldn't go alone.
  7. I'm currently in Orlando too. Is there any other big differences in gun laws that I should be aware of while I'm here?
  8. Sad that this happened. It could have been anyone. I've met with three people so far from TGO and luckily I've had no problems at all. I hope this incident doesn't give someone ammo to pass some stupid law.
  9. I'll actually be going to Florida this weekend. Am I good to go or is the gun staying at home?
  10. I can't speak for the main location, but I've been in their outpost location in Kingston a few times and they have been a major help to me. The blonde guy(not sure of the name) that works there is very knowledgeable and has helped me quite a bit.
  11. I haven't had any experience with the gen 4 yet, but I can't see any reason not to go for it. Let me know how it goes though. I love my Gen 3.
  12. I'll play. Glock 19 (or 23 depending on the mood that day), extra mag, wallet, chap stick, watch, medicine, knife, and my phone.
  13. I thought a professional wrestler was talking when I first started this video. And I like a good tin foil hat theory as much as the next guy, but there are roughly 320 million Americans right now. If just 1/4 of those were gun owners,I'm pretty sure that would still be more than all the countries armed forces combined.
  14. It could be the spring, but it could just as easily be a bad round too.
  15. Love the g19. I think everyone should have one.
  16. Too pretty to shoot is something a collector would say, and I'm no collector. I say shoot it to your hearts content. After all, the money you spend is directly related to the amount of life energy you've put into it!
  17. I'm only 25, but I can honestly say this is the worst I've seen things in my short lifetime.
  18. Just remember, the mass public have a lot of sway in our rights. If things like this keep up, the majority opinion on firearm ownership may turn sour.
  19. Agreed. Gun shops won't give you anywhere near what you can get in a private deal. They wanted to give me 275 for my Beretta.
  20. Much the same thought I have when I see a 1911 thread. Haha J/k.
  21. Apparently I didn't go back far enough and didn't use the right search phrase because I didn't find that. Sorry.
  22. I looked back a few pages and didn't see a thread like this, so here we are. Show me your Glock. Glock 19 Austrian proofed and Glock 22.
