  1. If he was a cop, he should have known better than to leave the scene, whether the shooting was justifiable or not.
  2. Best I've seen it for at Walmart is $34/box of 20. 220gr.
  3. Same here. I generally batch load my match grade ammo but plinking ammo I don't bother. But unfortunately, I don't usually plink on anything that big. I guess it comes back to what you said earlier, it's just a better press.
  4. I know a guy who has the standard model, not the Classic. He doesn't have near as much clearance as I do on my Classic. He says it won't auto-rotate with 22-250. I think it will with BLK and .223 though. But forget it if you're loading the bigger rifle calibers. That is, if auto-rotation is important to you. I sure like it.
  5. This may not be an issue here but a lot of organic substances (maybe coffee, I don't know) are flammable. Not sure if that little bit is enough to cause pressure issues, but coupled with the reduction in case capacity caused by the filler, might be enough to raise your pressure on max loads. Someone with more knowledge please chime in here. Maybe totally irrelevant, but I'd hate to see anyone get hurt.
  6. Wow! I didn't know that. Learn something new every day! I bet they are a collector's item now!
  7. Probably doesn't apply to Hornet but with NATO ammo you can see if the primer is crimped or not. As far as I know, all military ammunition will have the primer crimped and to put in a new one you have to remove the crimp.
  8. Did anyone see any .357 Sig ammo for a reasonable price?
  9. Welcome! In my opinion, this is the best possible place for someone to come and learn about firearms and the lifestyle in general. I know I've learned a ton from lots of members here!
  10. If you're in the middle or western part of the state that's probably true. For those who live in the mountains or in the foothills, a topo map can save you a lot of agony and unneccessary hard climbing because you can pick your route ahead of time based on what the terrain is like, or at the very least, have an idea of what you're up against. IMO, a topo map is definitely worth the extra couple ounces.
  11. David what are your prices on 30 cal bullets and what different weights do you have?
  12. Carrying an adequate amount of supplies is going to be the biggest issue IMO
  13. I don't think it's as much the race of the president as it is the lack of intestinal fortitude of those who would have to see it through.
  14. Benghazi, maybe? I agree that it will never happen and it's a waste of time, but I feel very strongly that heads should roll for this. Besides the heads of those he and Hillary left to die. :2cents:
  15. My thoughts exactly. Joe is an absolute moron. Hussein isn't much better, but he is definitely more shrewd. What I want to know is who's pulling the strings on both of them....neither one is intelligent enough to get where he is today.
  16. I guess I didn't look around for threads on it. I don't usually read much more than the classifieds unless I have more time than usual. No big deal. I guess I should have been asking more questions. Mike, if you decide to sell, please let me know.
  17. Yes I was being serious. The last I heard anything was 3 October. Fuck.
  18. So when will we be able to purchase them from CMT? I haven't heard anything on them in a long time. Did I miss something?
