  1. I handled a few before I jumped on one .... It just worked out perfect and I was able to get it! I figure I wanna try to get a few of the harder to get rifles while I can :-)
  2. Very true! Haha come on this way and shoot it whenever you like Thanks!
  3. Not quite.... But it's as short of a 5.56 chambered rifle as I'm gonna get without a stamp Finally got my Tavor ... I had never cared for the previous bullpups I had handled/shot but I really like this thing .... Also geiselle is working on a trigger for release next year :-)
  4. $558 + shipping ;-) Yes it's not ideal but I haven't seen brass .308 below $.65 in awhile even from other honest retailers (aim surplus, sportsmanguide, midway, sgammo, etc)
  5. I do agree they were EXTREMELY overpriced ... BUT No one forced them to pay that much ... Hell i had several pmags on gunbroker last December that I started at $0 with no reserve and people bid them up about as high or higher than CTD ... It's just what the market was at the time ... I am not defending CTD but just saying ...
  6. I didn't take advantage of the 223 they had a .23c a round a few weeks ago either ...
  7. At it again http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-723# tempting..... Cheapest I have seen LC .308 in a long time BTW: This was $279.00 per 500rds when I posted it .... Now it's up to $319 ... Gotta love it
  8. I also am a "prime" member .... Free 2 day shipping is great and I take advantage of if I have bought most of my stocks, grips, and small accessories on Amazon.... As of lately though it seems they don't have near the firearm accessories they use to (maybe they pulled some)
  9. I added it to cart to see ... $16 for one case or $24 for 2 cases (1000rds)
  10. Yeah at .23 a round that's under $5 per 20 ... Cheapest I've seen since pre panic ... But I still won't spend my money at CTD
  11. Haha CTD is something else huh http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-2905 I still refuse to buy any
  12. Vortex Viper PST 1-4x would be my recommendation .... Awesome scope at $500 or below price point Otherwise the SWFA HD Variable 1-4 or 1-6 if you wanna spend a little more
  13.   I completely agree.. Especially when you can snag a forged upper for $75 or around $50 for a blem, and a lower around $90-100 or in the $50 range for a blem... We are talking $100-$150 for a forged receiver set
  14. The carbon 15 is a carbon enforced polymer material from what I have gathered.... Before I knew any better I bought one as my first black rifle ... Never had any problems... But knowing what I know now I wouldn't buy another one .... I prefer forged aluminum :-)
  15. Yeah IMO you don't need loctite for your typical brake/flash hider ... Crush washer does what it's suppose to do Grease for the barrel nut needs to be graphite free ( to prevent galvanic corrison with aluminum ) ... The only Milspec rated grease I use is aeroshell 33ms.. Deffinately no loctite on the barrel nut As far as a armorers wrench the absolute best I have found is by gem state armory ..... AWESOME tool trust me buy one http://www.gem-state-armory.com/ar-armorers-wrench/
  16. I buy every bit of my ammo online ... Not worth my time/gas to dive around to possibly buy a box or two... Just my opinion Slickguns.com / gunbot.net Follow these sites and stay on top of them... You have to be very quick when something comes in stock.... I have accounts at most online retailers so I can login quick and checkout before it's gone Just yesterday I bought 2 bricks of federal for $57 Shipped..... Good luck!
  17. I have 7.... 2 spiders, 2 punishers, 2 calico jacks, and 1 zombie "blem" Seriously I can't even find a blem on 5 of them ... The other 2 had very slight marks that I could hardly see
  18. They offer some good specials on lower build kits etc .... Joeboboutfitters has LPK's for $54 or without a trigger for $34... I usually purchase the triggerless kits because I am a geiselle whore haha
  19. Yes .... I have 2 CMT Lowers both came with the bolt catch screw and hex key
  20. Thanks man lets hope it performs well..... I'm sure it will
  21. I have enough black rifles so I try to spice it up.... The Daniel Defense FDE is more like a coyote brown to me
  22. Just finished up another build... Haven't shot it yet though but im excited to Specs: BCM 14.5 Mid Length 1/7 5.56 BCM Comp Pinned Daniel Defense RIS II FDE 12.5" Rail Daniel Defense Fixed Front Sight Magpul Rear Sight BCM BCG/BCM Mod 4 Charging Handle Aero Lower w/Spikes LPK BCM Buffer Tube Kit ALG Defense Trigger Magpul ACS-L Magpul Angled Grip XTM Covers/Ergo Covers Aimpoint T-1 Micro/Larue LT660 High Mount ( lower 1/3 ) Who likes my socks??? haha
  23. If someone could please pm me as well on the ball park or rumored price .... I'm already in for 2 sets but I'm curious
