  1. Sure is ... I've owned several fast cars and done some stupid stuff (racing on the street or doing pulls on areas I shouldn't ) Either way David neither of us will ever know exactly what caused the wreck but if they were indeed speeding of course that would have made the conditions more favorable for a wreck Thanks for making a very obvious point
  2.   What is speeding? A car like that which sounds like an F1 car probably just sounds fast... It seems it would be difficult to tell...Either way its a loss and my prayers are with both families Paul Walker and Roger Rodas   BTW Rodas was a former professional race car driver (he was driving the Carrera)   EDIT: After reading several reports it seems unclear of exact speed I have read several websites some saying 45mph, one said 60mph, others say 90mph... Very unclear...
  3. You should do some research on the Carrera GT... One of the hardest production cars to drive if not the hardest... It's a very RAW car with a true race car platform Heck in 2004 Porsche sent out memos to dealers of the dangers of the Carrera GT and recommended potential buyers to go through a driving course The Carrera GT is a beautiful car but I don't think I would wanna be behind the wheel or especially in the passengers seat
  4. Eh? Wasn't racing... Wasn't speeding ... Wasn't even driving .... Was out at a charity support event for his charity .... I don't see any stupid games that were played ... Just my opinion Sucks they were in a Carrera GT those cars are death traps and can crumble with light impacts
  5. I don't put him by any means above a fallen soldier .. Never would Paul was a legit "good guy" ... He started his charity back in 2010 ( world of outreach) but he has been doing charity work for a long time Also I found this story touching: Paul Walker Bought $9K Engagement Ring For Soldier Who Couldn’t Afford It... He secretely bought a couple this ring and wanted no recognition Here's the link check it out the entire story: http://hollywoodlife.com/2013/12/05/paul-walker-bought-engagement-ring-iraq-war-vet-wife-soldier/ Also as far as acting I have to disagree about him being a bad actor... You all should watch "running scared" ... Really good movie but never got a lot of recognition
  6. One of my first go to websites when I'm looking for parts
  7. Good to hear! The shields do have tight recoil springs .. Mine has smoothed out after a few hundred rounds
  8. Well at least it has gotten better ... If that pattern continues the next 50 should be flawless :-) Either way I know where you are coming from it should work out of the box but maybe the one you got needed a "break in" ... Send it back
  9. I have a dan wesson valor so I think its a step up ;-)
  10. I know I know is it bad I would rather have my RIA on my side?? Either way I feel at the mid $600 range it's a good buy
  11. I would prefer a Springfield but this seems like a great price http://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/28357/c/firearms
  12. Clean and oil/grease it ... Check the channel and make sure you have some different types of ammo and give it another shot
  13. You cannot purchase a handgun in a state other than your state of residence without a transfer He can ship the handgun directly to an FFL (as long as your receiving FFL accepts it) I know some won't accept firearms from non FFLs. So yes he can ship it to your FFL personally as long as your FFL is good with it. I have shipped several handguns I've sold online without using an FFL to ship it for me ... Most receiving FFLs I have shipped to requested I ship the handgun with a copy of my ID (B9) May a nonlicensee ship a firearm by carrier? A nonlicensee may ship a firearm by carrier to a resident of his or her own state or to a licensee in any state. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm and prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm. [18 U.S.C. 922(a)(2)(A), 922(a) (3), 922(a)(5) and 922(e), 27 CFR 178.31, 27 CFR 478.31 and 478.30] (B8) May a nonlicensee ship a firearm through the U. S. Postal Service? A nonlicensee may mail a shotgun or rifle to a resident of his or her own state or to a licensee in any state. Handguns are not mailable. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. A nonlicensee may not transfer any firearm to a nonlicensed resident of another state. The Postal Service recommends that longguns be sent by registered mail and that no marking of any kind which would indicate the nature of the contents be placed on the outside of any parcel containing firearms. [18 U.S.C. 1715, 922(a)(3), 922(a)(5) and 922 (a)(2)(A)]
  14. I agree you got a lemon ... Mine runs 100% even with steel cased and wwb
  15. I am impressed ... Last holster I ordered took 4 months I ordered an IWB for my shield on 11/8 and it shipped 11/21...I understand things may be slower right now for them but I'm happy with just 2 weeks :-)
  16. You can get a vortex viper HS 4-16x50 (I ran one on my FNAR .308) they are in the $550 range ... Great optic
  17. Yes my brother had one and sold it ... It was fun no doubt but a $300+ stock I guess makes about as much sense as a $500 trigger haha... I guess the only advantage to the trigger is it would obviously be easier to get on target than a slidefire... But for $500 I'll buy 2 geiselle triggers
  18. True ... Well this seems way better than those slide fire stocks haha I also have one of the s3g triggers ... Love it
  19. VERY expensive from what I'm reading ... Rumor on another forum was in the $400-$500 MSRP ... We will see I suppose
  20. Just added the video in my post watch it ... I want one now haha Well depending on price point ... It would be fun to play with
  21. http://youtu.be/eQtCTUq4Y_I Pretty interesting .... It's ATF approved Basically from what I've gathered it has a very positive reset where it seemingly pushes forward on your trigger finger in the "auto" setting ... "The 3MR is a drop-in 3-mode fire control system with Safe, Semi-Automatic, and Tac-Conâ„¢'s patented 3rd Mode. The 3rd mode has a positive reset that dramatically reduces the split times between shots. The positive reset characteristic is achieved by transferring the force from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to assist the trigger back onto the front sear. As a result, this gives the firearm the fastest reset possible. Both semi and 3rd mode positions exhibit a non-adjustable 4.5 pound trigger pull weight. Why 4.5 pounds? Because most law enforcement agencies limit any trigger used for duty to 4.5 pounds and above. Extensive testing done by Tac-Conâ„¢, the ATF (BATFE), and professional shooters have proven that this is the fastest semi-automatic trigger in the world. The 3MR is ATF approved and is NOT a NFA part. Each trigger is accompanied by a copy of the ATF letter. This is not a bump fire system. The shooter must pull the trigger once for every round fired. Additional information will be available at www.tacfirecon.com on December 1st. Thank you for interest in TAC-CON!!" http://tacfirecon.com/
  22. They were $50 I bought 2 of them when they were released ... By the way you can still purchase them now http://shopnoveske.com/products/johnny-memorial-pmag
