I have a Magnum Research 10/22 with a carbon fiber barrel. I like the barrel but It is not threaded. Is there any way of machining and adding a threaded insert to the end? Im not sure I want to "ruin" this barrel. I have a suppressor "in jail" and am trying to get ahead on this. If there is not a good way to fix my barrel, what brand do you recommend? I'm looking at the WistlePig but have read some rumors of mushrooming over time with aluminum barrels. This is an all around gun that will mostly be shot free hand. Thanks Daniel

Specifically a Deutz? I have a Deutz 3006 which is an air cooled 2 cylinder 30 hp German made tractor. I need to have the clutch resurfaced and I need to either flip or replace the ring on the fly wheel. This is my first time splitting a tractor but I have tools, a garage, plenty of time and not much money. I know the general idea of splitting it but is there anything in particular I need to be careful of or watch for?

I did not know this. I did hull off some cheap Winchester last night to check it. I will play around with this.

I sprayed oil until it was dripping out and it ran perfect but that is not an option for every time I shoot. I did notice a little drag in the bolt when I pulled it back. I don't see or feel anything rough. I assume it needs to be polished? Would y'all still suggest to change the extractor? I'm not sure if MR uses stock Ruger extractor or their own version?    While I understand where you are coming from with this statement, the first round I fired with my KIDD trigger installed made it worth every penny I paid for it.

Unfortunately, I had to work over this evening. The trigger is a complete trigger assembly. I'm going to clean it again and oil it heavily but I've done that multiple times, maybe it will work. How hard is the extractor to change out? I might go ahead and change it. thanks daniel 

I have a Magnum Research 10/22 with a KIDD trigger installed. I have always had problems with it not wanting to cycle but never noticed how bad until I went to the range today. At least once and most of the time twice in a 10 round mag, it will not eject the spent round. It will hang on the ejector, feed the next round, then close and crush the spent casing. 90% of the time it does it on the 2nd round and then normally round 6 or 7. I shot about 200 rounds today while cleaning and oiling every 50 or so. Also, the one time it ejected the first round correctly, it auto fired the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds with one trigger squeeze. I am shooting CCI Mini-Mags and have run Remy Golden thru it with the same results. Any ideas?  

Anybody in middle TN ride 4wheelers? All my buddies I've riden with, have gotten new jobs, babies, or nagging wives. I only ride on Saturday but am not against useing a Friday. I'm looking for a local place to ride some and also would like to get a TGO group ride to Windrock or somewhere similar. Just curious if anyone else rides wheelers and what you ride? I have a Canam Outlander XT 800

I am looking more closely at the Toro Titan MX5400 and the Bobcat XRZ. They are both right around $5k. Is one any better than the other? or another in the same price range I should look at closer? I don't know of a BigDog dealer in Murfreesboro, so I haven't looked at them. The Hustler Fastrak is quiet a bit more expensive and I just can't find anything to make it worth $1500 more??  I'm not against a used one, but i do worry about the abuse it might have gone thru.

Is the scag tiger cub still produced(i can't find one on scag's site) or did the tiger cat replace it? I like the looks, reviews and price of the toro titan mx5400. i've also looked online at the hustler fastrak. How do the hydraulics compare on those three? the welded decks seem similarly built between the models i've read about, so i assume the main difference is going to be in the pumps?   for $25k it better mow the grass by itself!!

I scared to death I'll regret selling it but I can't afford both. It is an all original, still has the front side shields, 3pt arms and only 730hrs  

I have a John Deere 332 riding mower that I like but it isn't what I want to cut my yard. Can't cut when it's wet, harder to cross hatch, slower, etc.. I used to own a Bad Boy ZT which I did not like due to the electric deck pick up and the hyraulics were not smooth. It gave me a bad taste about zero turns in general and swore myself off of them. I am starting to rethink, now that I have my new yard going pretty good. I cut 1 acre twice a week right now, but it will probably be 1.5 acre next year. I can't afford a full commercial model. What brand/model do y'all recommend?

I haven't been there in years due to the same reasons. I may have to give them another try, especially considering my suppressor will be shipped there??

Does anyone know when Ruger will be releasing their 77/17 WSM? Or any other manufacturers besides the cheap Savage BMAG? I'm going to get a 17 and like what I'm reading about WSM. Volquartsen has a rifle based on the 10/22mag that should be released sometime soon but I assume it will have the same problems as the HMR?

I need my barrel dimpled for a gas block set screw. It is a melonite threaded barrel. Is there anybody in Murfreesboro area that could help me?

According to my local store. There will be no more .223 or 45. All that was manufactured is gone. I don't know if he means at this price or no more period or if he even knows what he's talking about. He did have a full pallot of 9mm and a few 308.
