can anybody tell me where to find rio shotshells? i am looking for game load hv 36 in 9 shot any vendors on here sell rio? i will buy a case if i have to 

i don't intend to start him at 2. i'm excited that he is interested. i was just curious at what age everyone starts their kids.

My 2yr old is showing alot of interest i shooting even going so far as to pick out his own "boomer" at wally world. I know 2 is too young to let him shoot but at what age are most starting? I am teaching him good safety tips even with his toys.

I used my pocket knife on the hard one but got in a hurry for the last one. Oh well, i didn't scratch or brake anything, that's doing good for me.

this is probably small to most but i just built my first lower. everything went smooth with no scratches. the only problem was i lost the detent spring for the take down pin. i was proud to get the "hard" one in and then lost the other while putting to buffer tube on.

I think i am going to get the xps2-0

Red dot. I liked his eotech xps3 but i don't need nv. Also, i have read alot of bad reviews on eotech

what can you tell me about there quality? i found them on the internet and they seem to have good prices with ammo in stock

i am also looking at sights. i tried a eotech xps3 when i bought my rifle and liked it but when looking online, there are so many different options for eotechs. can someone give me a run down or guide me in the right direction.  also, i found this site after reading one of the above posts https://www.primaryarms.com/EoTech-Red-Dot-Sights-s/905.htm are the magnifiers that come with them any count. this site seems to have good prices with a free magnifier

I met with sonny this morning and tried out his(now mine) sig 516. I liked the gun and it felt comfortable. It shoots great. Now to decide on optics.

And i thought i was confused before! So much to read about. I am going to look at sonny's sig and hopefully get to shoot it.

Whoops. Didnt mean to open a can of worms. I have been trying to read alot. I'm not against a DI gun, i just thought the pistons were cleaner, not sure if its needed or not. I did not realize they are so front heavy. I do want an ar based rifle, so the 556 is out. There are so many options out there it is hard to narrow it done. Every gun shop i go to recommends a piston rifle, thence my reason to enquire about them

I am looking at getting an ar. I think i want a piston rifle. I have looked at a core15 and a sig516. I'm looking for opinions on these two and any other options. The sig id $200 higher but i feel like resale, if i every wanted to, would be better. Also, what is the difference between the sig 516 and 556?

unfortunately i sold my noveske ar (he was original owner and wanted it back). part of the deal was i got a DD MK18 complete upper. i have found a spikes tactical stripped lower. now my problem(i have never put one together, always owned complete rifles), i don't know what parts kits are good, decent, stay away from, etc. i need some recommendations of brands and also where to find them. if i have read correctly i will need a lower parts kit and a buffer kit(pistol). daniel

i'm unsure if its needed or not but if this is a bench gun then why not go ahead. i always cleaned after every round for the first 10, then every other for 10, then every third thru 50. not sure if it helped or not but its not that much more work.i use and like bore snakes for my everyday guns, but i don't think they do all that's needed for a bench gun

that is my next option. i wanted a winchester but they are high as they only made them 2 years. buds is sold out of the henry or i probably would already have it

i am wanting a semi 17hmr. i was looking at the magnum research but noticed that it was resently pulled off there site. after searching and reading it seems that it is unsafe to shoot 17hmr in a semi. i noticed that volquartsen still sells there rifle in 17. does anyone know if the volquartsen is safe or better yet if there is another manufacturer that sells a semi 17hmr
