That is exactly what i do on mine. I am loading my pistol rounds just enough to make the gun function and cycle the slide . Just so my son and me can have fun with. I'm doing 4.8gr with Power Pistol which fills half the case and it shows that I can go all the way to 6.7 . So if I went over some I think I would noticed the brass being full when I go back and look at them . I use a single stage press and load them 50 at a time and have them all laid out in a cartridge tray. I always go back and look inside them real carefully

I have a single stage press and use a regular Hornady Powder measure. I can only load one piece of brass with powder at a time. I have been interupted by my kids and my wife a few times and then I accidently put a double load of powder in a piece of brass. Luckily I always go back and look down at all my brass and see if the level of the powder is the same as the others. I only load 50 rds at a time. I saw the deep level of powder in one piece of brass and thank God I caught it and dumped it. But my question is how do you guys or other people accidently double charge brass ? And can it occur in one of those fancy progresive presses ? I am just trying to make sure of stuff to watch out for .

Holy cow guys , don't give them any ideas :ugh:

Here's a .45acp round in my Glock 30 Gen 2.5 . There is a lot of unsupported case that is exposed. I know that .45acp doesn't have as much pressure as the .40S&W but I have more case support in my Glock 22 than this Glock 30 . You think shooting reloads in this is ok ? I may just take out my barrels and look at their support. I have a 24 yr old Glock 17 and a 21 year old G21 . I have heard that the newer Glock barrels have more support than the older ones. I may just shoot the reloads in the newer ones and leave my older ones to factory ammo.

I just looked at KKM website and they state that their barrels are made for reloading and they don't state anything wrong with shooting reloads. Bad thing is that they are a lot higher in price.

Anyone else shoot reloads in a Lone Wolf barrel in their Glock ? Are they functioning good and cycling the slide and feeding good ? I have a G17 and a G22 . Now I think I am wanting to get the 9-40 conversion barrel and use it in my G22 to shoot my reloads and just to have an "extra" 9mm handgun with the change of a barrel .

I am still new to reloading and I am presently reloading 9mm. I am about to get me a set of .45ACP dies to reload .45acp .I have a few hundred .45acp rounds now and I just noticed some have small primers and others have large primers. My questions is are company's moving toward smaller primers in .45acp or what ? I would have never noticed this until now since I am reloading .

I'm a huge Glock fan and owner too and I'm very interested. My two favorite are my Gen 2 17 and my Gen 2.5 30 (no rail) . I use the heck out of mine too and they have scars and scratches and marks. I no longer believe in "safe queens" . My Springfield Armory 1911 gets just as much work and has a few marks on it too. It's amazing at how some people are scared to get a little dirt or scratch on their guns. -

prag , let us all know what happens and what Glock does for you . -
I read another article on this polymer Beretta and it says that the removable "firing mechanism" thing or guts , were complex and would make it hard to get into it to mod or to add this and that like you can do to Glocks and M&P's . If this is true then it's kinda depressing. I was hoping that this gun would be a nice, easy , very few parts and a simple gun to modify and play with like the M&P and Glock.

Ok great , so good ole FMJ round nose 9mm bullets will do fine in the factory barrel and the brass will be good to reload afterwards ?
-
So far I just plan on shooting full metal jacketed (target rounds) out of it . Should I be good to go with those out of the factory Glock barrel ?
-
The unsupported chamber was why I was asking. I dont rememeber seein that much buldge at all but that was before I started reloading and knew what to look for . I may just get me a barrel . I had a Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrel for my G22 and it was great . What problems did you have that put Lone Wolf on the bottom of your list ?
-
Do any of you guys use a Lone Wolf barrel in your Glocks to prevent the Glocks from deforming the brass ? I am now reloading 9mm and wonder if it would be worth it to purchase a Lone Wolf barrel . I haven't looked at my 9mm brass from my Glock since I have been reloading to see if it is really that bulged at the bottom. Any thoughts ?

What pistols would you add to this collection?(Light topic, for fun only)

Glock 17 and/or Ruger SP101 in .357mag -
I like the looks of it very much. Especially the ridges cut into the slide all the way down it's length. I would like to see how the slide rails are put into the frame. Hopefully it becomes a good reliable pistol.

I still have one of your G30's and carry it on my days off work all the time
