  1. Anyone going to head out there today?
  2. Oh, I'm not complaining, just doing the math.
  3. Comes out to $14.50/box with shipping if you need some.
  4.   Yes.  The fit and finish (and name) are what you're paying for.  I wouldn't say a Kia to an AMG, but if you have all five pieces laying in front of you, the tightness of the slide to frame fit, trigger feel, etc will be noticeable.   Just my opinion, but even though the M&P has been mentioned most, it is my least favorite gun out of the list.  I own one.  I also own(ed) several of the others in your list.  They are fine guns, but the trigger is stiff, and at least on mine, there is enough play in the slide to see light through.    If you're considering a plastic gun, I can't recommend anything other than the XD, or watch out, I'm finally going to say it.... a Glock.
  5. Wanna make $500?  LOL
  6. If you are able, and willing, to spend the full $1,200, in my opinion the end all 9mm is the CZ Custom Shadow Target. I have, and have owned, A LOT of 9mm, but this one is my absolute favorite and I will never part with it. 10 rounds, 10 yards, offhand is no problem to shoot a ragged hole. The fit and and finish of this CZ is second to none. My second choice would be my Springfield XD tactical. I've done quite a bit of work to mine, but the new XDm 5.25 Competition piece is sweet and very close out of the box to my custom. Here, I thought I should post the Shadow Target again just so everyone can drool.... :)
  7. Send it to me so you don't have to look at it any longer :)   I'd either get my money back from the guy who did the work, or send it back to him to do it over.
  8. Yes, terrible idea because I'll have to buy an M&P R8.
  9. Don't worry, I think they will keep it about the same.  They don't want to lose members.  At 22,000 members, they're only pulling in $660K a year in membership dues and have to pay for people to organize the organization and events and keep the lights on in the office.     Let's not forget it's a game like anything else.  If you don't like to play the game choose a different game.  Don't like baseball, go play basketball.  Honestly, I'm not a huge IDPA fan, but I show up to my local shoot every month and play by their rules.  I just like to shoot.   If they make me walk, I'll walk, but I'll do it with swagga!  LOL
  10.   Often works for me in MW3.  LOL!
  11. Can we start ammo dumping?  :stir:
  12. The bathroom needs a little updating, but other than that it's turnkey ready!
  13. Yeah, now that I'm the proud owner of a Shadow Target from the custom shop,  I'm thinking of sending my old 75b to them for a fluff and buff, along with the trigger and hammer job.
  14. Midway put these on sale today for $92 for anyone looking: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/323774/zero-tolerance-zt0750-folding-tactical-knife-35-hawkbill-s30v-tungsten-coated-stainless-steel-blade-g-10-handle-black
  15. Yeah, pretty balsy.  But goes to show you how fast this stuff goes down.
  16. Yeah, there is a new Dura Coat spray kit for like $30.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssX58ygs1RI
  17.   That's what keeps Webster's in business.
  18. What about this one......  Well me personally, I think we should .... blah blah.
  19.   I 100% agree.  I go through 1000s of 9mm and .45 every year and only buy in lots of 1000 or 2000 at a time.  That may last a month.  So why all the heartache if a guy buys a case when he has a chance? Some of us actually buy and shoot that quantity.   Some people play golf or go boating and some of us spend our money on ammo and range fees.   Joe, I hope you burn that entire box through that M&P in one range session!
  20. Take your boots and gloves!  Jury is still out for me.  This rain has screwed up my planting for this weekend.  I have pots sitting all over the back yard.
  21. IMHO night sights are good for your bedside gun only, and maybe, maybe, the gun you carry every day.  Personally, I want sights that work when I shoot 99.5% of the time... during the day.  That's why you buy lots of guns and have one for each purpose.  :)
  22. Regardless of what the market may say, CZ s a superior product to the clones.
  23. Moonlight is a must.  However, I would recommend hitting it after you go to the gun shop because you'll be in a food coma.  Be careful driving home afterwards.  :)
