  1. Anyone have any experience with the small Para double action? They have a really easy trigger and you do not have to carry cocked and locked. Am considering one. Thanks

    9mm 1911's???

STI makes a good 9mm in the Trojan. Had one had no problems. Used it for IDPA with the metalform mags. Not one single issue!
  3. Any one know who would be good to contact to get the trigger on my CZ refined? I prefer not to send it off but can take it as far as Nashville if necessary.
  4. I found one this week in Henderson. They are getting scarce and the price seems to be rising as well. I am also a happy camper.

    LCP 380

Got mine today. Great fit and finish. Just ordered a CT lazer and a nemisis holster that will accomadate the lazer. Can't wait to get to the range.
  6. Thanks for all the suggestions. I got the gun home today and used Bore Shine a rag and elbo grease. The rust came off and no damage was done to the bluing. This gun hadn't been cleaned in years so it was another job to get it cleaned up. It is clean and rust free.
  7. I just bought an S&W 908 blued version. This gun has some lite rust in a couple of areas. I want to remove the rust but not the finish if that is possible. I plan on just giving it a good cleaning with oil and elbo grease. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
  8. KAHR K9 or PM9. PM9 for pocket and K9 for IWB.

    Bersa Pistols

The forum Bersatalk.com has all the info you want.
  10. I have an M&P Pro and an M&P 9. I sold my glocks after shooting these. I use the Pro in IDPA and really love it. I bought the M&P9c for carry but it was a little too bulky for my taste so I carry a KAHR K-9 or Sig 239. I love the M&Ps however.
  11. I love the KAHR CW or K series. They are easily concealable and very accurate. The PM series in 40 has a pretty good recoil.
  12. I carry a KAHR. You can't beat it for comfort. Thin as the new Walther PPS but not as expensive in the CW series.
  13. I traded my glocks for S&W M&P. I found the M&P shoots as good but feels better in my hand and points better than a glock. Both Glock and the M&P are fine weapons but I wouldn't go back to a Glock I really love the M&P.

    Kahr K9

I kind of like the idea of an all steel gun because of the solid feel. Also I can add night sites or a lazer if I want. There are just more options available for the K9 I still have my PM9 and it will stay. It is a great pocket pistol.

    Kahr K9

Thanks for the link. I still don't know what I am going to do. Both are good guns. I am leaning toward the K9 but that is a lot of $$ difference.

    Kahr K9

Anyone carry a Kahr K9? I am considering switching my CW9 for the all stainless K9. Would like your thoughts.
  17. Obama must be defeated at the polls. Gun owners need to get out and vote not assume these things can't happen. We almost lost the 2nd amendment but by one vote. This is what is of concern to me.
  18. I have hearing loss because I didn't protect myself so I noe go for the best I can find, Ear plugs just don't do it for me.

    S&W 40 cal

Shoot it until you are comfortable that it is reliable, get a good holster and enjoy:)
  20. I wish there was a "non of the above" ballot that would make both sides go back to the drawing board and present other candidates. Obama has no creditials for the office and McCain is not my favorite either. I will still support him however.

    GOT A NEW S&W

Congrats. S&W makes some good stuff.
  22. I think any program that helps you draw under pressure and shoot accuartely is a good thing. I'm slow but I think IDPA helps me to be more effective.
  23. Deerslayer, I looked at the comp-tac but for $5.00 more I think the leather might feel better. I ain't portly just very tall;)
  24. I looked at the Bearclaw and it is very similar to the Blade-tec that I currently have. I have ordered a j-hook for the Blade-tec but I still think it will be too bulky. I like the idea of the clips not being on the thickest part of the holster.
