I was at a get together this past weekend and someone made a drunken comment about "if I had a gun, I would shoot Trump and anyone who supports him".
Another peaceful loving liberal. If I thought they had the balls to do it, I would be more concerned. But it goes to show you the logic.

A lot of evenings when i'm gearing down for sleep, i'll throw on a movie with subtitles until i get bored enough to sleep. Last night I started up a random movie on prime called "Range 15". I figured it would be dull enough to drift off. I only watched about 15-20 minutes but it's pretty ridiculous. I guess these guys are some vet/youtubers. One of the guys is a cofounder of black rifle coffee.
I may finish it, but if you like your freedom fart jokes, this is probably a good movie for you. -

Ah, bummer for him. Hope it's not interrupting sports or anything for him. My kid broke a finger a few months ago, so I feel you. My son broke his elbow so bad that we had to have pins and almost a year of PT. He still locks out at about 96% extension.
I broke both Pinky fingers and C7 in my back. Fun as it sounds.

The 2024 The Crow is a remake of the Brandon Lee film with the same character names. I'm sure that's where the similarities end.
I hadn't heard about a Naked Gun remake. Even attempting this is an abomination. Maybe they are trying to play off Leslie Nielsen with Liam Nesson?
Next up, Airplane 2024 starring John Legend as the captain. Amy Schumer as Elaine, Mark Ruffalo as Ted Striker and special guest appearance Meryl Streep as Otto the inflatable pilot.
*edit* Oh dear lord, I just realized that would mean there's an "inflation" scene with Schumer and Streep. Nope, i take the joke back. I TAKE IT ALL BACK!!!!!-

The only gun that's ever "out" is my carry pistol when I'm not carrying it. Even then, it's near me. Outside of that it's the main safe or the quick access safe.
Once the kids are gone, I'll probably leave out a rifle and a shotgun. Honestly, I could probably do that now because my kids aren't into it outside of humoring me. I would be more concerned about other kids that they may bring over who don't have their discipline. I never hid it from my kids, so they aren't too impressed. My sons friend though, he's REALLY curious about firearms. I told my son its probably best to exclude my hobby. He looked at me sternly and said "oh... you don't have to worry about that"

Apparently they are remaking "The Crow".....
As a teenager, I felt like the original was... fine... it wasn't great, it wasn't awful. Going back now it's very high on the cringe meter, but it was at least an interesting movie. But I can't help feeling like this movie doesn't need to happen.
Again, I don't feel like the original movie was some national treasure or anything, but Hollywood just can't leave anything alone, let alone come up with an original idea. Pennywise with a mullet... I think I'm probably gonna pass.

My jeep fun is about to start. Just got an insurance check from where I got hit. Instead of taking it to a shop for months, I'm fixing the bumper myself. Plus I have the leak...but I have warranty for that. Just need them to give me the schedule date.

So I was a Pall bearer for my buddy on Thursday. Sad affair.
6 hours later we got the call that a family member was found unconscious in a parking lot. Another alcoholic. He passed away at 3am this morning.
Please please please.... If you struggle with alcohol...seek help. Don't be afraid to admit it and talk about it. Pray about it most importantly. It won't be an easy road, but there is a road to recovery.
If you have loved ones who struggle, confront it. They may be angry with you, but what's worse, their disapproval or their early burial?
Someone out there needs you/them. A wife, a child, a friend. It doesn't just ruin your life, it ruins theirs.
Please get help. Hell, ping me privately. I will talk to anyone.
