  1. The worst show I ever witnessed was at Starwood. It was Dave Matthews during his prime. He had a broken rib and had to sit in a chair. The place was dead. My girlfriend and I (wife a bit later) sat out in an almost empty grass area and just casually talked over the music. Nobody around us. We wound up leaving early.

Not that I'm a Dave fan mind you. It was just a chance to see some live music. No bueno.

They come from the factory that way. 🙂  Mine has one or more very small seepages on the driver's side. Again . . . 27K miles . . . I knew going in we were buying Chrysler quality. I tried to talk Mrs. 'lizard out of it, but that didn't work so I just resolved myself to have a sinking-fund for repairs on it. I swear this thing is like a boat with wheels.

it's part of the Jeep experience!

  3. Selfishly, I would rather see flowing fields rather than a subdivision. However, I agree that 90% of the farmland I see going away around me is/was privately owned horse farms or hay fields. I haven't seen crops since my youth when my grandparents farmed up in Portland TN.

I remember a few times where I had to go get this and bring it to the classroom.  My elementary school only had so many, and the teachers had to reserve the time.

Same with the overhead projector. My grade school had a computer cart as well. It's funny because my mother was a teachers aide and she ran the computer. Us kids weren't allowed to touch it. We had to provide the answer and then my mom would type it in.

It can be a combination of things, too.  I've seen Jeep owners throw their credit card at the problem and, lacking a methodical approach, end up with death wobble and a sore wallet.

This is the kind of thing that it's worth paying a reputable shop to diagnose.

Yeah @monkeylizard this could be a cascading problem. One nut gets lose and starts a reaction where your whole suspension system starts rocking loose. It could be one of MANY things. I wouldn't stab at this.

Sorry you keep encountering this, @NoBanStan.  I agree with everyone involved in the tragedy of it all.

I don't drink anymore for health reasons (made my blood pressure way easier to manage), and I don't miss it at all.  I'll never be a prohibitionist because we saw how that worked, but if the world went dry, or reigned it in for their own reasons, that would make it a better place, I think.

I'm not for removal of alcohol either. I don't even begrudge folks for safely getting a buzz and using it as social lubricant.

What I can't stand is the enabler and the taboo nature of telling someone they have a problem.

"Hey hey, don't call Ted an alcoholic! You don't know what he's been through!".

That's very true. I don't walk in Ted's shoes. But, do you know who else won't be walking in Ted's shoes soon? Ted. Because Ted is gonna die. Hope you're OK with that. I guess that's easier than hurting Ted's feelings.

The little sign at the top says $10 but that was the price until I left 3 years ago so it's probably $15 today

I didn't even notice tbh. hah. I guess that's something else younger folks won't get. Sub $2 packs of smokes. Not that they smoke anymore (thank goodness). As if vaping is better....

  8. I only remember ever bumping into one of these as a kid. It was at a place in Gallatin that we frequented on Sunday after church called "The smoke house". It's been gone for probably 30+ years at least. They had one of these in the bathroom and I swear it just rotated the nasty towel around it. So stained that half the time i just washed my hands and slung off the water instead of using it.
