  1. IWB can be comfortable if done correctly. I have a couple of Don Hume leather 715 series holsters, inexpensive but works well for my G22 and G20. I do like a t-shirt/under shirt between me and the gun. Also have a Galco Titan kydex for the G22, it has a slightly bigger footprint than the Hume.
  2. Another I like is SnS Casting 175gr LSWC with 7.0gr of Longshot. Nice, accurate round plus seem pretty powerful for target use but works well from my G22. I like R-P brass for 40 S&W and standard CCI primers for SPP and LPP use.

  4. I use my chamber to set my crimp and overall length, length usually come to 1.125". If it falls in and out just barely on its own they are good to go. I would try a couple and look at the brass especially the primer for signs of over pressure, not a for sure sign but may show something. Over crimp, in my opinion, will also cause accuracy problems. Does in my Glock 22. I like Longshot powder for the 40 S&W myself, good accuracy and clean but only does med to higher level loads, not good for mild. Do indeed let us know how it goes.
  5. Howdy Burgam and Welcome to TGO Lots of good info and folks on the forum.
  6. The government should be limited in this not given free rein. We need change and we need it now!
  7. Looks almost like it was cut instead of torn. Interesting failure.
  8. Handle as many as possible. Glock 19, SA XD's, S&W MP's, just so many that you will have to try and see which will work for you. The way you rack a slide can make a difference. Good luck on your search.

  13. The first day I was always checking that the gun was still there, shirt was pulled down and the mag carrier was still there. Got over it fast and no one seemed to notice or care.
  14. Ordered a Beltman belt couple of months ago. Very good material and craftsmanship, wears well and holds my holsters in close. About $86 total but worth it in my opinion.
  15. Mix it up and spread on the lawn/flowers. Makes good fertilizer.

  17. Howdy and Welcome to TGO I call mine a confuser.
  18. I like Glocks and have two at this time but they are not for everyone. Depends on experience and use.
  19. Do like the Russians and bury them in your backyard!

  21. Wasting ammo!
  22. Make sure that is the model you want then check around for the best price. Go and buy it. Nothing is needed to purchase a firearm in Tennessee and as long as you do not have a disqualifing arrest on your record you will be god to go. Think about any accessories you may want or need to go along with the pistol.

  24. Yes I have one. Not for everyday but it has it uses.
  25. Private sale is 18 for rifle, pistol or shotgun. FFL sale is 18 for rifle/shotgun and 21 for handgun. Also HCP holders must be 21 to apply. I would also do a bill of sale if it is face to face. Also ages apply for buying ammo for same at stores, I believe.
