  1. Depends on the coarseness of material and finish on the firearm. I like leather and am not seeing any wear on my Glock 23 or 27.
  2. Modifing the chamber may cause problems and make it dangerous. Mod the magazine maybe but do not mod the chamber. Just my opinion.
  3. The firing pin mark left after firing should be cantered on the primer as much as possible. If it is offset too much I would get a gunsmith to look at it and see if it needs to go back to be repaired.
  4. Not for sale but I have a Charles Daily 12ga Field Grade semi auto shotgun I got at Wal-Mart for $275 about 18 months past and like it. No problems and you can use Remington chokes. I have put about 750 rounds thru it. Not the prettiest but it works. It came with 3 different chokes.
  5. No pictures but basically looks like a G23 slide, darker in color and very light since it is aluminum. Has white brand markings on slide. With it mounted the gun is very light like a cap pistol. Mine is the LE model also with Glock sights and the rear is adjustable for windage.

  7. I use a patch on a plastic cleaning rod and do not leave any lube inside them.
  8. As long as you are happy with it then so am I!
  9. Gooddeal and I love the 40 S&W caliber.

  11. I have one for a G23. It is very light and likes high velocity ammo. Sometimes get a stove pipe when firing slow but no problems when I let them rip, practicing short trigger reset. I got mine at Guns & Leather for $250 and 3 extra mags for $25. I am happy with it.
  12. You do the class which is the laws and then shoot (very easy to pass) and go to a driver lisence center to process the paperwork and they give you a list of where you can go to get fingerprinted. It is called a Handgun Carry Permit not just concealed carry permit. My class cost $50 then $115 for the DOS check and fingerprints.
  13. I don't have a G19 but do have a G23 and G27. I have the Advantage Arms Conversion Kit for my G23. It gives the same grip and trigger pull as the 40 cal round and is a lot less expensive to shoot. It does make the G23 a lot lighter in weight. You can use the same holster for drawing/reholstering practice and mag change out although the 22lr mags do not drop free when empty. As for practicing, if it is showing some improvement in your skills then keep it up. Go with what seems right to you.
  14. It's always nice to buy from a local shop because you have a place to go and waste time, spend money and handle stuff!
  15. The only one I have had hands on experience with is a Bersa Thunder Duo Tone in 380 ACP. Never had a problem with it, ammo and mags were expensive. Only reason I got rid of it is that I have gone to 40 S&W as my handgun caliber. Not quite as small but good handguns are the Glock sub-compacts, CZ 75 compact.

Better than K, C, LURP's or the old freeze dried stuff. I almost had a sexual experience when I found out they came with a little bottle of hot sauce.
