  1. Just found TGO not long ago and have come to check this place out before work, after work and just about any other time I can get on a computer. It is neat having a firearms forum for your state. Thanks to the management!
  2. It is many companies policy for no firearms on company property and they can search your car if it is on company owned land. Do what you feel you need to but if caught you will probably be fired at the minimum.
  3. You can do shotgun patterning there, no other equipment available unless you bring your own. It has 25, 50 and 100 yard target stands, backer boards. Sometimes very crowded, need to get the permit, $5.50 for 2 hours, at local stores. Can do shotgun, rifle and pistol, no on site range officer.
  4. Already done it. Have a good day and remember safety, safety, safety. The class is set up so you can come away with something without drowning you in useless info, enjoy yourself!
  5. Idiots to the left of me! Some not only don't get but they should not breed.
  6. There are so many people who think a law or laws make them safe. The law abiding would not do anything bad to begin with and a law will not stop the bad ones from doing what they want.
  7. Depends on your location. If near Clarksville TN. then Tennessee GunCountry has them for around $17/$18 on the shelf.
  8. Check out any local gun stores and see what they say most people get for your model/brand of pistol. A good place to check out is; WWW.GUNNERSALLEY.COM Always had good products and service from them at good prices. A lot of folks say not to go MOB holster because they with firearm may cause back injury if you fall on them. I have no personnal experience myself, I use either IWB or OWB.
  9. Some type of semi auto rifle in a intermediate caliber, haven't decided yet. I am good on pistols and shotguns. I may look at Ruger's Mini in 6.8 SPC.
  10. Name just one, okay maybe two or three. Mine is Whittaker Guns near Owenboro Kentucky. I know it is out of state but it is a very good store and the people are just great to deal with. For closer to home I have found a fairly new store here in Clarksville. Tennesse Gun Country, good items and good price plus discount for LEO's, Military (active/retired). It is run by some retired military types.
  11. Yes I guess it does work but it seems to becoming more complicated everytime. I just wish that more people voted and used their heads and not their hearts to choose a candidate. I only hope and pray that our country becomes stronger and smarter over the next few years. Thanks for the replies.
  12. Anyway we can get a "WELCOME" smilie? It would be nice, maybe a little larger with bright color and a little waving dude. Just asking.
  13. Just a reminder that there will be a gun show at the Nashville fairgrounds this weekend. Be there or be square. Make it if you can. Anybody know a good way TGO members can recognize each other while there? Have a Nice Day
  14. I have one in 40 S&W, ugly but works and surprisingly accurate.
  15. Go with what feels right to you but if it will be concealed carried make sure it is "RELIABLE", nothing will ever ruin your day as much as hearing no bang when you need to hear one!
  16. Congrats and carry with pride and responsibility!
  17. Rant coming on! I think the election process somehow violates me. Why not vote for the candidate and the one with the most votes wins. Why have delegates and all the other extranious BS, just one person equals one vote and the canddidate with the most votes wins. RANT OFF!
  18. Maybe they put bad signs so it does not mean anything.
  19. Just asking, I do not care who you voted for but we all need to exercise our right whenever possible. I voted, I always do. I did not always vote but it has become very important to me as I have gotten older.
  20. The bad guys seem to be getting more violent these days. Glad they got the perp and feel very sad for the family.
  21. I don't love GLOCK's! But having said that I have 2. They are my utility guns for range and carry. I think they are ugly and blocky looking but with the right holster pretty easy to carry. I have a 23 and 27 and the 23 has gone thru more than 1,000 rounds of different brands and types of ammo to include reloads and has not had one mafunction. The 27 is new and only has 200 rounds thru it with one malfunction because of ammo. Both are accurate and easy, for me, on recoil. I don't love them but they work and that is what I require.
