  1. Yeah, I saw the video of that earlier. Ouch!!
  2. The haters will always pick the worst photos. We would probably have to start a thread in The Ready Room to show the really good photos of Beard. Even there, we couldn't show them all. Luckily, Google is your friend.
  3. I will agree that Amanda Beard's face is her weakest feature. She looks good in some pictures, and not so good in others. She still has a rockin' body. My vote still goes to Coughlin. She has the body and the face.
  4. I like Natalie Coughlin. Amanda Beard is hot, but she should have spent more time swimming, and less time posing nude. She did not even make it to the semifinals of her only swimming event. :-\
  5. The first two or three mags I ran through my Mosquito, I had about five failures of the slide to go completely into battery. A quick push put it back into battery. After those mags, my Mosquito has run 100%. Great pistol! Now I want to get a suppressor for it. The best place I have found to get Mosquito mags is AIM Surplus. They have them for $30. AIM is also a great company to deal with.
  6. According to the descriptions, they are both Tru-Dot models. I thought Meprolight called all their pistol sights "Tru-Dot." Looks like the only difference is the model of pistol. One is for the P99 Compact, the other is for the standard P99. That and $26.
  7. Yes. I will disassemble them, and wipe down all the parts with a dry cloth. I do not use oil on any part of the mag.
  8. <------- Also a huge SIG fan. Welcome!
  9. Yeah, I hear you. The one on the US team that I like the most is 20 years old, so I don't feel too bad.
  10. I am also logged in every time I visit the site. Mmmmm.........cookies.

    MRE

Here is a good website for info on MREs. It also lists reputable companies that make civilian MREs. http://www.mreinfo.com/
  12. Ooops! I meant to post a link to the extractor upgrade, but forgot. Here it is: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Extractor-Spring-Uprade-Kit-p/bcm%20extractor%20spring%20%203pack.htm
  13. I also would recommend the A-Zoom snap caps. They can also function as dummy rounds. Some plastic snap caps do not have the same weight and balance as real ammo, and won't function properly in auto-loaders. Top Gun Supply has A-Zoom snap caps at good prices.
  14. Short barreled uppers can be picky, especially 7.5" uppers. They take a bit of punishment. There are a few things you could do to try and fix the problem. First: I would do an extractor upgrade on your bolt. You can buy the O-ring upgrade kits from several online companies. I would suggest you try Bravo Company. Second: What weight buffer do you have? If you are running a standard weight buffer, I would suggest you go with a heavier H or H2 buffer. The heavier buffer will slow down the cycling, and allow some of the gas pressures to subside before extraction begins. Switching to a F/A bolt carrier will also accomplish the same thing, but switching buffers is much cheaper. I am betting the O-ring extractor upgrade will solve the problem, but a heavier buffer may also be needed.

    New Plinker

I have a Mosquito w/ threaded barrel (hope to get a suppressor soon) and it is a lot of fun to shoot. I ordered a four extra mags, so I would not have to load mags so often. And you can't beat the price of the ammo!
