  1. Magpul PMags are great, I would also highly recommend them. Also, mags from D&H Industries are excellent. There are some online retailers that sell them for just under $10 each. D&H makes mags for the military. They are excellent quality mags.
  2. All this talk about the C&R license has got me interested. There are a couple of C&R firearms I am interested in. I did not realize that the license was this simple to get. I just requested ATF to send me an application, as well. I also like the idea of getting dealer discounts.
  3. One website had this notice: I still can't find anything in the TCA. Maybe I am missing something.
  4. Huh. Every site (dealing w/ black powder firearms) that I looked at stated that they cannot ship black powder firearms to Tennessee. We are lumped in with all the commie states. I did a search of the TCA, but I could not find any law concerning shipping black powder firearms to TN.
  5. Be thankful for the Watson's Girl. You could be forced to watch the old Fleming Fine Furniture commercials from the Memphis area.
  6. I think she still looks damn good. She is only about 30 years old. I believe that her stepfather is the owner of the company, so she will probably be around a little while longer.
  7. I thought a new lawsuit would happen. DC was just thumbing it's nose at the SCOTUS decision.
  8. Thanks for the info. I didn't know that they had come out with an SF version of the G30. Just what I need, another gun to be interested in.
  9. Thanks for the post. I didn't know they had Krav Maga in the Nashville area. I had looked into it before, but they didn't have anything here. I might just take the plunge.
  10. As already mentioned, the Glock 30 is an excellent choice. Personally, I found the G30 to be a little too thick for my hand. I went with the G36. It is thinner than the G30, so it fit my hand much better. Of course, it holds 4 less rounds than the G30. Give them both a try, and see which you like the best. Edit: Ah, I see you want a DA/SA. I would probably go with a SIG P220 Compact. I am not too familiar with other compact DA/SA .45 pistols. I tend to favor DAO for carry.
  11. Personally, I would get it fixed before I would sell. Seems like you would be able to get more for the rifle once the warranty work has been done. Hopefully, the gunsmith in Humboldt can fix it up.
  12. Thanks to all for the welcomes. I grew up in Lexington, but haven't lived there for about 20 years. Still have family there, though.
  13. Hello. I have been lurking for a couple of months, and finally decided to sign up. I live in Nashville, but grew up in west TN. My collection consists of a few SIGs, Glocks, a couple of ARs, and a few more. I am also a NFA owner (currently only a SBS, but I am looking to expand). It's an addiction. Looking to make some new friends, learn new things, and help out where I can. Andy
