Oh no, i like anderson. But I forgot I sold the punisher lower I had in reserve to a friend. And my current rifle has a punisher. So I wanted the mini me to be the same. Oh well.
-
I also ordered enough parts to build another pistol and they are all here. Had a un complete side charging upper. Now I am now on the hunt for a non anderson lower. The hunt is not going well. I should have bought more than two lower a year and a half ago. Everyone charges 50 bucks for a transfer fee so there is almost zero savings ordering online.

I found the shockwave brace to be more of a hindrance and it didnt match the magpul furniture, so I threw a plain pistol buffer tube and called it a day.

Putting together a new upper from strach

I ordered a FM-9 10.5in rail and it comes with its own barrel nut. Everything is ordered, now all I need is to find a spikes punisher lower. -
Putting together a new upper from strach

The gas block I got is adjustable -
I have a BCA side charging upper left over from a build I wrote off last year. So now, I want to use it on a new upper. I have tracked down the parts I need and want to know from someone with more experience if the list is right 1) 10.5 in barrel with a carbine length gas system https://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/b556cm410-518-ss 2) .750 low profile gas block (Ergo .750 low profile adjustable) 3) Gas tube carbine length (Stainless one, forgot the brand, have) 4)Flash hider ( Already have) 5) AR 15 barrel nut 6) Rail 7) Upper and bolt carrier group (already have) But I am having a little issue on the barrel nut and the rail. I keep seeing mixed info about it. Some say the rail will come with a barrel nut, others say it is separate. If someone can point me in the right direction, that will be awesome. All the parts marked orange are in my possession, so I dont need them. Unless someone can show me where to get a better part at a good price.

Sorry, its .556. Ill edit my post. But I do have a .50 beowolf pistol in mind.

I been a LONG time since I tinkered or build anything. So it was a toss up between building a .458 soccom rifle or a 5.56 pistol. Freaking PSA and their amazing deals. Now I own a new pistol. I will say, its pretty kick ass. Im probably going to build another one but without the front post and I will make it side charging, just like my rifle.

Yeah, I have seen it before, I was just wondering how hard it would be to change this one. At his rate, im just going to get another punisher lower and call it a day. -

Hey man, if you thing about it, it will be the funniest #### to go shooting with a few friends. -
Thanks for the input, it was just cheaper to get a the shockwave kit than the sig brace. I honestly wanted to see if I would like a 10.5 ar and if yes, Ill built another one and get the tax stamp. Magpul spoiled me with the ACS_L stock and I want to put it in almost very thing now. I will post photos of the new build one it is done. So, two to three weeks from now pending shipping from PSA.

Its been a while since I built a new rifle and I decided to go ahead and build a pistol. I am under the impression the atf has said that "placing the sig brace against your shoulder does NOT turn the pistol into an SBR", and then I looked up the shockwave brace and things look murky. So, does anyone know for a fact if the shockwave brace gets the same treatment as the sig brace? PSA has bunch of kits with the shockwave on sale and I would like to snatch one so I can start the new year building something other than legos.

You need to push it further. The .224 is meant for distance.

If you have a chance, the cool springs theater got remodeled and its fantastic. Full kitchen and everything. Last time I went, I relaxed with two martinis.

I have been eyeing BCA 458 soccom uppers. Just have to get caught up in everything else before I can do a new build. But BCA has some really great stuff. All of my uppers are from them, everything else is still PSA, but man, side charging....... it was the point of no return.

And with my luck, next week being 50ish all week, I cant ride due to tearing my damn meniscus. FML

You know, this is the name of one of the villains from a great science fiction series, The Foundation series. That was the first thing that pop to mind when I saw the title.

Yeah, Im a little sad that I let it go. It was a great bike and hauled my fat ass without issue, in fact, I got in trouble for doing 95 and not realizing it. But the overall frame was small and I felt cramped and uncomfortable. Specially in long distance. But oddly enough, that was not an issue with the 883.

It was an impulse buy. My dad is a harley guy, took the bastard eight years to let me ride his bike. So I went and bought one, but for some reason, I was missing something. So I started to look for something different. Thought about getting a fatboy, but that C50 was too good of a price to pass up. I was very surprised how smooth and great it rides. My next step after selling the 883 is to go after a M109 boss. So think of v rod, but 1800cc of pure awesome. I did eventure into the sports bike side with a bmw K1200RS, but im more of a cruiser guy.

Yeah. Now I need to get a motorcycle jack and clean out the tool shed to store them.

Decided to get my mind off things around two month or so ago and picked up a new toy. I have a harley 883 that I never truly liked and will be selling to a friend in a few months. (Rear wheel bearing went out on the way back from nashville while I was trying to pass a semi and that was almost it). I went and got a yamaha virago for my brother, so I could have a riding buddy, but as soon as my mom found out, she wasnt too happy and he ####ed up, so I sold the bike (but not before riding and enjoying it). Decided to stop by cool spring power sports and see what they had. (Sloans and everyone else were selling old cruiser for WAY too damn much.Wouldnt you know, they had a bike I been wanting for a few years now. Not the same exact model, but close enough. Went and got a me suzuki boulevard C50T. Man oh man, this thing is absolutely a pleasure to ride. I might upgrade the pipes, but I am enjoying how quiet and smooth this bike is versus the 883. Let my dad take it out for a spin and he looked tiny on it. Heres my soon to be ex 883 This is the gem of a virago 750. Actually pretty cool color. Looks more seafoam green in person. Photos do NOT do the paint job justice. And my C50, in all its majesty. It and the virago combined are still thousands cheaper than the harley. Great cruiser. 2015 with 2000 miles. Price was a STEAL (Even talked them down). Eventually, I am going to try and unchrome it. Keep it maroon and black. On a side note, I take it back on my dad adding a windshield on his 883 years ago, it makes a pretty noticeable difference going down the highway. It was either do something constructive or start drinking. I think I made the better choice.

Just thinking about it brings me to tears. Hes now on the nightstand next to my bed. The vet made a clay print and im going to make a frame for it. I keep walking in and try talking to him. My brother stopped by and broke down. He was with me when he passed away and its not the same for both of us.

I got his ashes back and I have no idea what to do with them. I been avoiding coming home. All of this sucks.
