  1. There is a bright side that everyone is overlooking. This is non violent so far, no riots and no chaos. Which, if you look at it, is a very good thing. And I dont like watching football or basketball, so doesnt bother me at all.
  2. It is not.
  3. Thats a secret.

I only go because my friends drag me along. But otherwise, unless it looks phenomenal, I usually wait as well.
  5. Yeah, it is. But then again, the googly eyes I put on it make up for the aesthetic shortcomings.
  6. And ended up buying a rifle. This is the first actual store purchase I have made in 7 years. I partially hate myself for this, but behold, one of the fugliest rifles out there: ARX 100. It is ugly, light, fully ambidextrous, easy to use and Italian. Did I mention how ugly it is? I feel so guilty. But it was too good of a deal to even dream of passing up.

Anyone here seen alien:covenant yet? If you have, what was your thoughts? And what are some movies you guys are exited for? I am personally going crazy waiting for Valerian and the city of a thousand planets. It looks awesome.
  8. Just imagine the judge reciting the crime in the court room. And the looks everyone including the judge will give you.
  9. Yeah, sorry I wasnt specific. That way it is safer than growing a plants around it and trying to hid it.
  10. Are you going to place a fake rock to hide the electrical plug?
  11. Thanks for the link. I talked to a member on the site and he shipped me the motor mounts. $65 bucks and they will be here in a few days. The Bel Air will soon drive again again. The mounts are being sent in from Canada, which is really funny and ironic to me. On a side note, I picked up another 68 bel air, (white) to hack off body parts and replace my rear window and my trunk lid and lip. I might turn it into a bel camino if I can salvage the front. And throw in a C30 dually rear end just for fun. I might even rebuild my old block that has been sitting in the garage for the last five years. Now I have the major car groups covered. American, German and Japanese. Three speed, six speed, five speed. Need to add a four speed to the mix.

I got spares for days. And so far, only had two drills and an impact bite the dust. Concrete breakers and jackhammers on the other hand, I lost count. And the hilti repair service is top notch.

We use hilti for 98% of our tools. Dewalt is always trying to get more of our business and I keep shutting then down. Only downside to hilti is non of their stuff is automotive.

    New toys

I cant. We are the only two with tools in the shop. He trades his back in. Sometimes, I will get sockets and wretches. But I also get him power tools. So it kinda balances itself out. Getting all those free dewalt tools saved me a couple thousand bucks versus buying all their snap on equivalents.

My tool box is minuscule compared to our shop mechanic. And he is fixing to get a bigger tool box again.
  16. Those dont work. They are the body mounts. Ebay, impala bobs, classic industries, ecklards late great chevy, and so on non of them have it. I know its a bad photo, but thats the motor mount on the block. I lost it.
  17. I dont say this lightly, but you sir, are a god send. I have been searching multiple sites, went thru countless catalogs, junk yards and BAM, you magnificent bastard shows up. I will order them and pray they work. They wont work, I went to check, the bolt patterns do not match up. Back to the search.

Oh, and Im pretty sure my Snap on dealer hates me for always ordering green tools. 90% of my green tools had to be ordered.

    New toys

Its been quite some time since I had time to fully visit the site and show a few of my spoils. Now, due to the nature of the items I am going to post, please understand that I am broke. But they are well worth it. For the most part. Most of the tools are Snap-on, the wrenches are craftsman, the dewalt and hitli stuff was all free ( one perk of being in charge of ordering tools is getting free sample tools), and the matco set was $100 bucks and I couldnt pass it up. And then I saw my side charger was lonely, so I built him a new friend. (Not pictured, but the bottom rifle has a new lower and trigger group, so now they both match punisher lowers). And lastly, I made the biggest mistake of my life and bought a new car. One of only a handful of crossovers that offered a manual. Two weeks into owning it, I hit a deer. So, never buying a new car again.
  20. Im on the verge of crushing my bel air. Replaced the motor last year, got a new car, fuel tank, pump, sending unit, clutch, flywheel, floor shifter, a a few odds and ends a few months ago. Drove her 4 miles this year and the damn motor mount broke somehow, and took my bel housing with it. Replaced the bel housing, but no one has a 250 strait six motor mount anywhere. So, this jasper rebuilt engine is a big ol paper weight like the rest of the damn car. My 2017 crosstrek on the other hand, hit a deer with 487 miles on it and by some miracle drove away with a dent.
  21. And this is the upper i bought: http://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/upper-receivers/bca-side-charging-receiver-bcg-combo That way, i can mimic my psa rifle, but building it for a completely different purpose. Once i get this one figured out, ill start working on a 458 socom same style.
  22. That would be the issue. And i also dont know the tooling that i need. Didn't even know that was a thing.
  23. Do you guys think I could get this upper assembly and just switch the uppers around? http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-20-a2-rifle-length-nitride-15-lightweight-m-lok-upper-no-bcg-or-ch-516445026.html
  24. All they have are stainless.
  25. Ever used the black one? tempted to guy one and cover up the blemishes.
