  1. I built mine from scratch. Used a machine shop and got the second lower right. So yeah, I cant sell her. On the other hand, I really wanna try to machine a PSL next.
  2. closest one I can think of is Tom in franklin. He's the owner of lock stock and barrel. He does damn fine work, but he has a LONG waiting list
  3. Anyone know how good their rifle parts are? They have a .50 beowulf upper that I want and been wondering if anyone has used them in the past.
  4. Looking to start a new project. I have a .50 beowulf build in mind and in reach. I am looking at a KMTactical upper and was wondering if anyone ever had dealt with them. I love PSA, but they dont offer much in exotic calibers. The other question is, how hard is it to paint a barrel, as in the right paint.
  5. Good read, but so many spelling errors.
  6. If trump picks a war it will be with Russia or China. And both of those will be very bad. China the worst since they hold most of the US trillions of debt. And as far as those protesting jackasses, they are not helping anyone except to make themselves look even worse.
  7. Truthfully, they all suck. My only issue is that he will probably start a war with someone. And 60% of the things he says makes no sense. Im not voting for him but I do find rather amusing that his side has been non violent, while the other is creating violence at every chance they get. Do they not realize that it is doing nothing but making them look worse?
  8. I cut my finger really well closing a kobalt box cutter knife. Learned first hand how sharp a titanium blade is. Didnt even feel the cut.
  9. Had this issue happen to two of the 3 rams 1500's I have owned. Never had this happen to my 99 silverado 1500 (new body style). Shorty after that, I went with manuals.  So much easier to diagnose the problems and worse case, takes maybe two hours to replace a clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing and anything as such. Even my new 2016 Mazda 3 is a six speed manual.
  10. That would be perfect for a baretta or highpoint carbine conversion.

    Another new toy

except for the bel air. Ran into a snag with the new motor and taking her to my dad's mechanic next saturday. As soon as she is done, strait to the body shop to get the body work done and paint. Going to completely murder her out. Add red halos on the lights and red led's behind the grill. But I figured, a work car, a nice driving car, and a (once completed) bad ass ride in general make sense. And not really a mood thing, since the 3s gets 31.1 mpg, the 3 hatch around 40 and god knows what that strait six gets with that AWFUL gearing. But they did have a 2015 sting ray. I just couldnt find a good enough reason to buy it. Still no mid life crisis point yet.
  12. Decided it was in my best interest to sell the bike and get something else. Made a profit, and next thing you know, got something else. Now I have a 5 speed, a 6 speed and a 3 speed. Need to get a 4 speed to close the gap. And it works out too. Got a full size sedan, a compact sedan and a hatch back.

    Got a new toy

The wind screen was tiny and very cheap. Also looked like crap.
  14. went to Harley to buy an 883 and they declined be because I have good credit, but no credit history. Went to Honda and they did the same thing on an M50 Boulevard. (They would accept with double of the down payment, so I said no). So instead I found this guy. 2001 Suzuki Intruder VS 800. Shes super fun to ride, and has a little over 9,500 miles. She came with a shield and saddle bags, but they both looked pretty gay. So took them out and am going to retrofit two small ammo cans as storage compartments. And who knew motorcycle insurance was so cheap?!
  15. Not to say one way or another, but this never happened to me while in school or college. Dont know why, but most of this crap that keeps happening on TV I have yet to see.
  16. If im in that area and they have them in stock, i will probably grab a a couple.
  17. What are their prices? They went from $65 out the door to $105 out the door over here.
  18. Who has lowers instock around the middle tn area? I used to get mine from North side, but they bumped up the prices and I wanted to know if anyone knows of a store that sells them cheaper?  Dont really care for a brand name since all the anderson ones I have used are fantastic.
  19. Nah, I didnt like WKU so I came back. Got a damn sweet job with a great company and will work on paying some of the college debt off. I will take some photos tomorrow, but this is the last thing I need to get her on the road so I can take her to the shop and have all the body work done and the car re painted.
  20. Dont know why I said intake, I need the exhaust manifold. Im going to try to use the wire linkage.
  21. As some of you may have guessed from my profile picture, I have an old 1968 bel air. I dropped a jasper rebuilt motor in her about two months ago, and got everything hooked up but the carburetor. The engine came out of a C10, so the carb positioning does not match my throttle lever. Can anyone recommend a good machine shop that might be able to cut off the bolts and then re align them? And yes, I have browsed many a site looking for this damned intake and zero luck. ( Not really, found a BUNCH for the V8's but nothing for my L6).
  22. Got the same tool box, didnt last past an year. Oddly enough, if you can somehow find a sears, the craftsman ones are pretty dope.
  23. I have only gotten a few few things over the years. two 3 ton floor jacks, one 4 ton, a 2 ton engine crane, a one ton engine crane, four 12ton jack stands, four 3 ton jack stands, and two 1 ton engine stands. Out of all of those items, one of the jacks has been beaten to hell and back for the past 4 years and it still works great. And most of the other stuff gets almost daily use. Except for the engine stand and the crane. Those get moderate use.

    .50 AR

I dont reload nor have much free time. Last time I went shooting was roughly 6 months go. This is something I will start stashing a few bucks here and there and maybe have it built by summer. My main concern was the buffer spring to use.
