  1. Today we did the Sun Studio tour and Mud Island River Park.
  2. Yeah, right now we're waiting out a storm at a BBQ tent that was nice enough to feed us and give us booze. Anyways, they looked in my sisters little handbag and had the brother inlaw and me lift up our shirts to check our waistband. Jokes on them, the gun was in my pocket.
  3. Thanks for the help guys. Now we're doing the BBQ on Friday and going to do something else in the city on Saturday. So, what is there to do/go in Memphis BESIDES Graceland?
  4. Next weekend my sister, her husband, and I will be going to Memphis In May for the BBQ contest. I read that guns are banned from Tom Lee Park so my question is do they search you or have metal detectors at the entrance? Thanks.
  5. .Listen, I know you said you're not looking for revolvers but, you can't go wrong with the Ruger LCR. I have the. 357 one and it easily rides in my pants pockets
  6. Ah, the model 38 or as I call it, Rico Tubbs revolver in Miami Vice.
  7. Here's an article from Truth About Guns about it. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/robert-farago/eight-states-eliminate-partially-reject-tn-handgun-permits-reciprocity/
  8. Go to Truth About Guns, they test fired one of the guns at the SHOT show and it broke. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/foghorn/first-impressions-new-colt-cobra/
  9. Yes I meant spend. Never drink and post people.
  10. What is the most you would spent on any gun? For me it would be 500 to 600 out the door. Anything more and it's going to be spent on some rare, hard to find gun. How about you?
  11. http://www.newschannel5.com/news/13-guns-stolen-from-murfreesboro-home
  12. Yeah when I look at these pics I don't see a Colt revolver. Instead I see a Rock Island revolver.
  13. OK, OK you got me. I want ahead got myself another sp101 2.25 .357. Sheesh. So, that brings the .357 count up to 3. All Ruger's.
  14. Today I saw a great deal on a sp101 but, stopped myself because, I ready have one, it was exactly like the one I have, and would rather spend that on a different gun and because variety is the spice of life. But, I know that there are people who own multiple copies of the same gun for whatever reason and I'd like to know who does and what would be the point of it. You know besides the Hollywood reason.
  15. The Bersa Thunder .380 with the Satin Nickel finish was the 1st gun I bought after I got my carry permit in '13. One of the guys at the range had one and was nice enough to let me shoot a magazine of it. Loved the way it looked and felt that I got one. But, when I got it the store was out of .380 and a lot of other stores to. And when I did found some it was about as high as .40 and I'm talking about target ammo here. After a few months I decided for something else and traded it in, unfired, for my LCR. I've been thinking of buying another but, the price of ammo keeps me from doing so.
