  1. .Listen, I know you said you're not looking for revolvers but, you can't go wrong with the Ruger LCR. I have the. 357 one and it easily rides in my pants pockets
  2. Ah, the model 38 or as I call it, Rico Tubbs revolver in Miami Vice.
  3. Here's an article from Truth About Guns about it. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/robert-farago/eight-states-eliminate-partially-reject-tn-handgun-permits-reciprocity/
  4. Go to Truth About Guns, they test fired one of the guns at the SHOT show and it broke. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/foghorn/first-impressions-new-colt-cobra/
  5. Yes I meant spend. Never drink and post people.
  6. What is the most you would spent on any gun? For me it would be 500 to 600 out the door. Anything more and it's going to be spent on some rare, hard to find gun. How about you?
  7. http://www.newschannel5.com/news/13-guns-stolen-from-murfreesboro-home
  8. Yeah when I look at these pics I don't see a Colt revolver. Instead I see a Rock Island revolver.
  9. OK, OK you got me. I want ahead got myself another sp101 2.25 .357. Sheesh. So, that brings the .357 count up to 3. All Ruger's.
  10. Today I saw a great deal on a sp101 but, stopped myself because, I ready have one, it was exactly like the one I have, and would rather spend that on a different gun and because variety is the spice of life. But, I know that there are people who own multiple copies of the same gun for whatever reason and I'd like to know who does and what would be the point of it. You know besides the Hollywood reason.
  11. The Bersa Thunder .380 with the Satin Nickel finish was the 1st gun I bought after I got my carry permit in '13. One of the guys at the range had one and was nice enough to let me shoot a magazine of it. Loved the way it looked and felt that I got one. But, when I got it the store was out of .380 and a lot of other stores to. And when I did found some it was about as high as .40 and I'm talking about target ammo here. After a few months I decided for something else and traded it in, unfired, for my LCR. I've been thinking of buying another but, the price of ammo keeps me from doing so.
  12. OK I was just at TN Gun Country when I started talking to this nice, young couple. He's in the military and was looking for a handgun for home defense and to eventually carry. Only problem is he's 19. The guy at the counter said it's illegal to sell a handgun to someone under 21 unless it's gifted or sold to them from an immediate family member. But, I've read on some webpages that an 18 to 20 year old can buy a handgun from a private sell and keep it in the house. So, which is it? Cause they seem like a nice couple and I have a handgun or two I'd be willing to sell them. Oh and get this, he's from outside of San Diego and she was from Boston, so they know next to nothing about guns. Geez I wonder why? :-P
  13. Can't believe what I saw the other day while getting gas at Speedway. Up pulls this car and all over the back was bumper stickers but, not just any bumper stickers but, gun ones, everyone of them. Either it was brand name ones, gun store ones, etc. My first thought was if I was a criminal looking for guns I know what car to hit or to follow home so I can break in at a later date. But, the messed up thing was the car itself. It was a very nice, newish car, not some old beater. I was in such shock I didn't even take a pic cause you really had to have seen it.
  14. Well it's that time again when we spend time with co workers outside of work for free food and more importantly, free booze aka the office Christmas party. So, does anyone have any fun stories of drunken random hookups, drunken fights, or drunken anything. I don't cause I quit going to holiday work parties after 2002 but, I'd love to hear your stories.
  15. Rural King has the EAA Windicator .357 snub nose on sale this week for $249, which is a damn good price for a .357. It seems like a good offer but, I really don't need another one when I have two Ruger's, the LCR and SP101 in .357. But, you can't have enough .357's. Does anyone have any experience with this? Cause the reviews I've read have been mixed at best.
