He will not admit it, but he had a lot of fun driving it. I also have done a few things to it, replaced the door panels and the seats. One door panel was bad, but I got two in fantastic shape for $160, so it was a no brainer. The tan leather seats where worn and ripped, so I got two black leader seats in almost impeccable shape for $175. All I have to do now is replace or repair the top, has a rip, fix a broken bumper clip, and get an RX8 shifting knob. Did some research on the vin, and BAM. Special Edition LS model. I knew the six speed transmission was weird, since 95% of them are five speed. Shes going to clean up really well. But deep down inside, I miss my RX8.

It is killing me that I had a chance to pick it up for $2500. bad engine. It wasnt until it was sold that I found a re manufactured turboed engine for $1500. I debated on shooting myself over that one. I could have bought both of them, and the engine and still have cash for maybe a pistol. Well, thats stretching it. Money for gas and oil.

So a friend wrecked his car. I, being awesome and somewhat bored with my current mode of transportation, sold it to him.  In my quest for a new vehicle, I came at a massive fork on the road.  A nice WRX that needed motor, or a blurple miata.  Needless to say, the embarrassment on my brothers face when I picked him up at school in it was the greatest feeling I have ever felt. You cant hide your face with the top down, and the radio allowed all his friends to see him driven away to the sound of lady gaga. I threw my dignity out of the window, but it was so worth it.  I will upload a picture of the pocked rocket as soon as possible.

Im on PC number 5. I will build it and then get bored with it. I dont use it much, but at least it packs power in every field, from CAD to games.  For under $700 it is quite easy to build a great pc.

That dachshund is so puffy. I am glad I never had to worry about that with mine.

I will admit, they can stretch a 30 second event into half an hour. And the gear boxes have to be at least a semi's since it doesnt ever show them downshifting.

I played football and benched over 300.  Sure as hell wasnt on the bottom of the food chain. And times change.

I just hope they bring some more space battles. And now I dont have to worry about trying to fight the coral people. Yuuzhan Vong. Honestly, who the FUCK came up with them.  Hard to kill, lovers of pain, living ships. Complete dicks, only thing close would be intergalactic space nazis.  But it did have a kick ass space battle over coruscant by using a red super star destroyer as a giant battering ram.  Oh, and the separatist droid army had so much wasted potential. 

Yeah. But that three speed will be murder with a v8. And the bell housing is removable and will mount to a t5 five speed transmission. I been toying with a ton of engine possibilities. Even though about mounting a quad rotor wankel in it. But i will be beaten and banned from the good guys car show. I also looked into a vq35 conversion with a six speed. As far as engines go, that engine bay makes the world my limit. I just need to find something and stick to it. Preferably something that wont break the bank. And i am not wanting to make it fast. At least not for a few years. Just need her looking sexy again and on the road. Seeing her in the back yard pains me. That white is a real head turner too. Not to mention pissing people off when i fill up. Nothing like a gas door behind the license plate. Sticking so far out when filling up.

I thought about a junk year as well, but its a much higher risk for an older engine.

I wish. I been waiting almost two years. Its finally got to the point where i want to have this thing on the road. Screw the interior. I made a goal years ago to own a classic car and ill be damned if i let this one down.

And if I do replace it, i will probably not modify it for a long time. This is going to turn into a bad ass cruiser. At least badass enough to put those crownvic boys in their place. And no, im not bagging it. But she will drop an inch to an inch and a half.

Its the same bel air as the one on the photo. I been thinking of everything from finishing the rebuild on the 250 to dropping a 6.6l diesel in there. I will most likely keep it simple since a few years ago i ordered a really nice cast iron head from arizona. And dont feel like converting it to a automatic or a floor shifter. The three on the tree is really fun. Until you switch cars and keep cussing out the windshield wipers.

Been thinking its about time I got my 68 back on the road again.  I have a 250 strait six in it now and would like to keep it, but finding parts for it seem a lot harder now.  Been toying with the idea of dropping a 350 in it.  Anyone knows where I can get one for a relative inexpensive price?  My Bel Air needs some love and affection.

My first car was a 93 Marquis. But aside from the "gangs" have you guys seen the donks?  Everything from sponge bob to sesame street.  I want to die of laughter every time I see one. And then I get depressed when I run the numbers in my head of how much all that shit cost.  And watching one of them keep on driving with a flat tire, its just icing on the cake.

Meh, good bacon is grilled and I still dont know how people can love it. Its alright once in a while, but the rate that people consume it is rather bad.

I have learned over the years that people in general are crappy drivers. Most cant drive a simple stick and even less know the limitations of the vehicles they drive. I have grown up around cars and driving a ton of different ones. On rain, shine or snow. Its not so much about a car being 4x4 or AWD as much as its the person behind the well. I have seen countless times people panic and cause a crash. My mom was one of them. Not to bash everyone, but 96% of drivers out there would automatically slam on the breaks when they lose a little bit of traction. I am by no means a great driver, but I consider myself above the cattle that drive out on the roads. :) It also helped that when I was learning how to drive, my dad forced me to take on every scenario possible. From heavy rain, to ice and even mud.

I was passing everything on the highway last night. Tn drivers cant drive worth of shit. And im rwd. Best part was a camry taking up both lanes of the highway. It wasn't too bad though.

I did donuts in front of my house. Since thats as far as I got.

I miss when my was still little. Being a miniature dachshund he didn't get that much bigger. Just a little grumpier. But I still love the little bastard to death.

Dont worry. They closed the roads a mile and a half from my house. So I walked home. Only fell three times so I am proud of myself.
