  1. Im sure it will take some time to get them all removed. http://www.google.com/#hl=en&tbm=shop&sclient=psy-ab&q=sig+sauer&oq=sig&gs_l=serp.1.0.0l4.12957.16414.4.19267.15.9.0.0.0.3.50.307.7.9.0...0.0.oVBm5s8_xpE&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=15d03a5192cbec06&biw=1600&bih=708 http://www.google.com/#hl=en&tbm=shop&sclient=psy-ab&q=+lcp&oq=+lcp&gs_l=serp.12..0l4.7425.7425.12.8980.1.1.0.0.0.0.45.45.1.1.0...0.0.EdCfi-dqlpA&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=15d03a5192cbec06&biw=1600&bih=708
  2. I guess one can look at like this. A chronograph is a measuring tool. Right? A guy cutting firewood doesn't need even a yardstick, but a carpenter needs a good tape measure. So why are we measuring speed if load A and load B both produce the same end result on the target?
  3. Ok From all I read not many chronographs are 100% accurate. Why would I need one?
  4. Oehler 35 Chrony Alpha Master CED M2 Oehler 33 Pro Chrono Digital Magnetospeed V1 Ballistic Chronograph Ok this is what we have so far. Thanks for the input.!!
  5. I had one on order and it is set to back order. But I got to thinking I will stop that order and might get a different one. So what chronograph should I buy?
  6. Thanks guys!!! I had 2 points of aim. One was dead center and the the other was very top center. Oh and this was firing rather fast under one round a second. So I guess the 229 could use a bit of sight drift. But then Id be on the fence and would take away my heart shots LOL I just thought it was cool to have em almost all to the right of the center line.
  7. Noticed this target today after I went shooting. Think Im a true Right Winger? LOL 9mm Sig at 19 yds Only one made past center LOL
  8. I use these often http://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=79 Scale says.................. 1.6 oz
  9. As I looked for a trigger for the Remington 600 I ran across this. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=mgwi&Product_Code=TIM500T&Category_Code=remington-triggers 4 to 10 ounces pull. Now talk about a hair trigger. Not sue Id want one for my 600 but would be neat to try out.
  10. Love the Seecamps. Nice pair. The 25 is the top one?
  11. Took it out today and only shot a few rounds to check function more than anything. Not as loud as I thought it would be. But it had more kick than I thought it might. Draw backs are the hidden bolt release to remove the bolt. And only holds 4 rounds. Shoulders well even on my weak shoulder. Balance is good. Weight seems to be around 6.5 pounds. The factory trigger is short and sweet. I forgot about the cold brass shooting a bolt gun. Next time out Ill see how accurate it is.
  12. I can agree with the plus 4 inch groups. Even more with some of my ARs. With Wolf and Tula. PMC is better. And the PMC brass will reload real well.
  13. Thanks Dolomite. OhShoot. The Zeiss has a permanent home on my AR308.
  14. Thank you for the offer BALL & CHAIN. I am married But it was nice of you to offer!! I am doing well just cant do some things I did in the past. Im not sure when I will have them cut on me. I am looking to put it off until summer is over, If I can make it that long . THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!
  15. The rib is what drew me to it. I wanted it as it looks different. I just hope its a good shooter.
  16. Im starting on fixing up my Remington 600 in 308. I just traded for this. Seems to be a good gun. I haven't shot it yet but will soon. 18 1/2 inch barrel Has a cheap scope on it for now. (all I had laying around) It needs the back sight as it was missing. But If I leave the scope on it I wont need it so much. The gun by the serial number was made in 1965 or 1966. I hope it shoots as well as it feels.
  17. I knew you was OLD Ohshoot But every 122.5 YEARS? Did they even have a 22 back then?
  18. Ok. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!! and thanks for the input. I will know for sure Tuesday but I am certain it is torn and Im not sure how bad. The Guy that took my MRI said UN Officially it didnt look good. I had to go in for 2 sets of MRIs I can use my arm to somethings. But when I move it in a bad way it will bring me down for a few moments. 6 months looks like norm. Thats going to suck. I may wait until winter. to do it if its needed. Thanks!!!! for all the well wishes.......
  19. Anyone had this? Rotator cuff surgery. I will know for sure on Tuesday but looks like Ill be down for a few. I guess I can practice one handed shooting with my left hand LOL... I am right handed It is my right shoulder. How long is recovery? I guess rifles and even reloading will be out for a few?
  20. Not sure how much difference it makes but mine is marked WC and not SMP. I had to back off 5% on my loads.( Compared to CFE223) As I was having slight primer flows ( flat primers) and craters In my 20 and 24 inch ARs. Also Im not sure if this matters. I do not crimp my 223s. I have no chrono but I will have one soon.
  21. Private or membership at this is not a concern. Im just looking for info on building it and tips. As for the legal stuff, Going to a pay system at this time will not matter. As it will be down the road. Plus county to county in TN vary for the laws. I just want to build and set it up right the first time. I am looking at building benches and to have those covered for sun and light rain. I am looking to run both hand guns and rifles from the one and only firing-line I look to start with gravel on the firing line. Then go to concrete After re looking the land over today I may only go 8 or 10 lanes with one or 2 open for the prone position.
  22. Ok I have some land and it has a natural swag in it that will allow me with very little grade work to provide a 150 yd range. It will have at minimum of a 30 foot berm in a horseshoe shape around the full shooting area. I can safely set up 12 shooting stations. It is on a back road and can and will be gated easily. There is plenty of parking to the right Or one can drive down to the firing line. The firing line to targets will be on a slight incline. ( I may level this down If i can keep the dozer long enough) Ok now what Id like is some thoughts on what to do and or look for as I start this project.
  23. Questions you may think to silly to ask. My First one. Say I am running XXX powder in a 223 at the minimum load and it hits at 100yards where I want it to. But say I want to load ammo for 200 or 300 yds and make the round hit on target with not moving the settings on my scope. Is there a chart or rule to go by to make the ammo hit at 200 or 300 by adding more powder ( Up to the max safe load) I think I made this clear LOL if so or not lets talk it over.
