  8. I buy very little from Walmart. I prefer Costco and Public. Both companies pay a decent wage provide benefits. When you go into Publix they trip over themselfs trying to help you. If you only want a couple of pork chops out of the 12 pack, no problem.etc etc.
  9. I second that. I got mine from Parkers, he gave me a great price on the safe and cut me a deal on delivery (to Chattanooga) / setup since I helped get it in the front door and in place so he wouldn't have to bring another guy to help.
  10. Carters On highway 58 In Harrison (Chatt) Does layaway, I Can't Remeber The Terms. They don't have a huge selection but will order most anything for you.
  11. I don't have any kind of dehumidifier in mine. Keep everything well oiled (as it should be anyway) and never have seen a spot of rust.
  12. Cool, I selected one a couple of hours away. I figure my car doesn't use much gas and I can visit some friends/family around Nashville.
  13. OK I have a question about the shipping on on our orders. If we selected a FFL we don't usually do business with is it necassry for us to get in touch with them and let them know what we have coming?
  14. Hello all, I noticed last night while cleaning my kimber custom II that there was a bulge at the tip of the barrel. This was my first time shooting the gun and my first 1911. I don't remember noticing it when stripped it after I bought the gun. Does anyone know if this is normal. My thought is that its for tighter tolerance between the collar/spring retainer. Thanks
  15. Is that factory barrel and receiver? Sorry its hard to tell on my cell phone. If so what did you do to polish it up so well. I'll agree with you Tempest, I've got another 91/30 and a M44 in the safe. Don't feel to bad about decking out a regular old 91/30
  16. I believe that they do at knob creek in Kentucky, I can't remember if it is part of the machine gun shoot or not. I would check their web page.
  17. Thanks for the tip, I haven't seen those before.
  18. Almost more than a new Mosin. That being said did you buy ( it says sold)? I've got a Mosin I've been toying with I have a ATI stock for it and have been looking at some different trigger kits for it. Also wanting to go with a bent sniper type bolt and a scope mount.
