Re: Online forums being sued for copyright infringement...

This may be off track but We have a sports bar that my wife runs. We have to pay two different groups for the use of songs "royality I guess". This includes juke box, karaoke or live entertainment. Basically, if someone walks in off the street and and sings a song we are charged for it. They watch your ads or call like the're a customer to see what entertainment you have and then hit you with this. One group just sent a letter another sent a rep. Its all legal we had it checked out. Just another way for a flimflam man to make money. We're not big time just something her parents started years ago. I guess I consider this similar to whats happening with the forums. -
Glad to know the neighborhood is well protected. I'm off disco. No I don't dance !

Outdoor junction in Cookeville has a fairly new indoor range I haven't been there since they completeed it. Its I-40 exit 290. They seem to be real nice people always had the time to talk even if you weren't buying anything but box of ammo

Gunbroker has a couple I think $400 & $425 I don't have any experience with 9 but have a couple of 45's that I like If you pass on the cs 9 I might be interested in it. I'd like to pick up a cs9 and cs 40 along the way if funds permit.

Funny I ask this on one of the national forums and I got "I shoot my guns and throw the case away" I just don't understand this train of thought, I mean why not keep it. I shoot my guns too but I wouldn't throw the correct case away. If I felt that way I would at least give it to someone. I just buy for the most part buy to keep or if I wanted to get rid of one, someone would be gettting a nicer package with correct case. Huh I even got a AMT hardballer with the orginal cardboard case and the allen wrench. "I know" but before ya'll hammer me this is a good one maybe because it has a colt barrell and recoil spring
-
When gun shopping how much importance do you put on getting orginal case ? Not necessarily money but more of getting complete package. Its not a deal breaker but I think its a plus. Maybe even helps with history

lester, how did you get picture of my one of my dogs ?

I did the aker b21 1 1/2" not bad for $40 also found one at blawhawk clearance for $20 both have the inserts and are dress belts. Granted the're not the quality of a good $100 leather belt but for the money they do a good especially the aker.

I have several compact 45's S&W, sig, detonics ,etc. The CS45 is the smallest no issues IMHO super pistol. The SIG P 245 as well but not american. The detonics (american ) has good rep. but honestly I've never fired ( in safe) I also have S&W 457.along with H&K, bersa american arms. The compact 3rd gen smiths I guess never caught on but from I've read were good budget priced weapons and still a pretty good value today.

I have 2, I love mine I bought one and liked it so well I bought a second. You may not like the thick grips. I was surprised at how accurate it was with very little muzzle flip. I can't say I have put really alot of rounds thru it but I have never had a ftf issue I am compact 45 fan butI wouldn't mind haveing the 9 and 40 in this. I hope its reasonably l priced. I thnk I gave $500 for both of mine which is not a steal but I don't thick I got a bad deal considering their condition.

I was trying to get rid of some clutter. c'mon whats the chances of me needing the spare mag for llama 38 super in a hurry LOL I don't even have ammo or 4 detonics mags. I'm just "remodeling" the safe didn't know if anybody had better way. Actually I prefer the stack method and beleive I'l stick with that. Just glad I don't have a spare for my jennings.

I was trying get the best organized or storage method . I really hate to leave extra's in the case since they won't be in the safe plus I have a couple of duplicate pistols that I don't want to mix and match. Not that it really matters. Yep they are like roaches especially if you throw ak mags in the mix

I have 3 great danes (rescues) very good as far noise factor very aggressive acting when someone show up outside or the door. I'm not certain that in the right situation they would't bite. When somebody comes in the're big babies. I have been accidently been bitten a couple of times amazing how quick they are and how much damage they do. They are very good natured dogs and itsunbeliveable how gentle they are with my 4 yr old grandaughter even swimming in the lake. I tried to post a picture of them sleeping on their backs which all the're good for but can't get it to work.

I'm in the process of taking my pistols out of the cases and putting them on racks to make more room in the safe. I understand its better to store guns out of the case ? How do you ya'all store your magazines ? Leave them in the safe or in the cases. I plan on storing the cases in a tupperware or something container. If I leave them in the safe i don't want to have a pile of magazines. BTW I got some nifty gun racks from buds for $12.99 nothing fancy but work well for the price. Ordered thurs 1:30 had fri before 3:00

One of the guys I use to work with said he had a smith & wesson sig. He also swore he had a live hand grenade. He took alot of ribbin' but wouldn't come clean with the truth.

I have a concealco Iwb for my S&W 640 with CTC. They seem to get alot of positive feedback and I'm very pleased with mine great people with a personal touch. I told him what I had and was open to suggestions. I received hand written comments on receipt on what he done. I think they are a well kept secret, reasonabe on price also. Its similar to of a couple of the holsters mentioned in this thread www.concealco.com

Their website says it was developed for machine guns and large caliber weapons. but has a deer on the bottle

I have one, good gun for the money. It just stays in safe because everytime I think of getting rid of it I remember how much I like it. It has the nickle finish I don't know if thats a plus or minus still like it
-

-
