Restaurant Carry Law ruled Void!
Punisher84 replied to raydog1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
It feels like crap and we all called it. A clean bill on parks and restaurants would have upheld in court. Challenged yes. Overturned? I doubt it. David he's right man! Attitude or not it's a valid point. Everybody slammed those of us that wanted a straight up bill and accused us of derailing the bill, etc Now it got overturned so who was right? -

Yea I'm the FTO now for my site and I'm constantly writing training aids doing recurrent training, etc. It helps alot because sometimes we may go through slow periods and to keep it fresh really decreases the risk of having an "incident"

This obviously won't be the status quo, but here is what I have been through and some of what I teach now. All of us went through a 40 hour class on basic procedures, tactics, laws, and policies. Then we went through 2 week site specific training with an FTO. Then when you go to your shift you are attached at the hip to your Sgt. who trains you for an additional two weeks. You are also generally not allowed to answer any service calls alone for about 3 months. Then we get state certified in Chemical and Impact Weapon. We also do Crisis Intervention training and PMAB (Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior) which is used at Lakeside and MMHI. It covers both mentally and physically handling aggressive patients and suspects. We also try to work as closely as possible with MPD and SCSD to get input for training, procedures, and just general crime stats in the area, etc. We also get HAZMAT Decon training. There are some other little things we do and we are constantly training or doing recurrencies just to keep up or alter something.

PGR isn't. They are a rider's association. I only support them and ride with them in the sense of doing the funerals and stuff. MY actual MC is Los Cazadores. We are a LE, Military, First Responder, and Civilian club. Yes, we wear a 3 piece patch. MC simply means Motorcycle Club. This does mean you wear a 3 piece patch, but it does not mean it's an outlaw club. Law enforcement and Military clubs usually all wear a 3 piece patch. We have always been considered "exempt" from having to ask permission from the dominant 1 %er clubs like you would have to if you and some buddies just wanted to have a club, then you are usually forced to be a support MC for the dominant outlaw club. The only big outlaw clubs now are Outlaws (TN dominant club), Hell's Angels, Pagans, Bandidos, Warlocks, Iron Horsemen, and a few others. There are a ton of other MCs though. Here in TN you have Wild Pigs, Lawdogs, U.S Military Vets, and of course now...Los Cazadores. It means The Hunters in case you are wondering.

I'm in an MC and yes while they are technically club property it wouldn't be that big of an issue for the V.P (new charter or not) to take his own patches back and decide to stay in the case presented. It's a show anyway. Not like most of the crap they do goes on day to day even for the heavy 1 percenter clubs. Where you get into an issue is if someone from another club or just some yahoo decides to put a club's patches on their vest/jacket.

Doesn't work that way in Tennessee. There are recently passed laws that extend a certain degree of breathing room for you if you are in your car, but you still have to have a permit and you still fall within the laws having it in your car loaded just like you would walking around with it on.

You can be. There is a debated defense to it under 39-17-1322, but it is merely a defense. You could still be brought up on charges.

So in all honesty if a snake is in your garage, you chop it's head off with the shovel, and bury it in the backyard what are the chances that you are going to undergo a criminal investigation? I mean is the snake's wife going to call and say "My husband never came home last night." Then PD is going to canvas the neighborhood, until someone reports a snake's body found in abandoned lot, then a mismatched, but yet perfect for each other detective team shows up to drag wjh down to the station until he cracks and admits the murder? Then they take him into cuffs as Jeff Buckley sings "Hallelujah" in the background?
