I just started a new job last week or I’d buy it back from you, because my BCM SOCOM loves that round.

That’s much more accurate ammo than the typical M855 we find here, at least out of my rifle.

I sent my SOCOM-16 back to them for extraction issues, despite the gun being 8 years old and I wasn’t the original buyer. They polished the chamber and replaced the extractor in just under a week. I shipped the rifle on a Monday, they had the rifle in their shop Wednesday & shipped it the same day, and I had it back that Friday. They must have test-fired the crap out of it, since the rifle was clean when I sent it, and the rifle was filthy when I got it back. That is customer service.

I ordered some specialty rifle ammo a few years ago, and it was delivered by FedEx. I got a text from the seller on the delivery day, asking me how I liked the ammo, but I had not seen it yet. The app was telling him that the package had been delivered, so I went for a walk in the neighborhood. The primers pushed two slugs into the barrel, after which a blank round was fired, which drove out the bullets and struck Brandon Lee in the chest.

I don’t like the inability to delete ads. It could be worse; Armslist requires a paid subscription not only to see the ad body, but now you can’t even see the price without logging in. A site with as many data breaches as Armslist has a lot of nerve asking for access to my bank account in order to do business there.

What he said. The salad days of cheap ammo have come and gone, it’s not our fault if you didn’t ‘buy it cheap & stack it deep’ when it was there for the taking. I wish that there were more ‘boxes-o-parts’ to dig through like back in the Old Days, but I guess that’s faded into history, too.

I went yesterday and walked around with my old M1A, but only had a few nibbles. One guy talked up his FN-M4 pistol as a possible trade, said he was going to his car to retrieve it, and vanished.

I’m going Friday with a buddy, maybe try out the Lebanon show on Saturday.

Not to kick OP when he’s down, but Harley Davidson Financial will literally finance ANYONE. To be unable to qualify for one of their loan programs was a screaming red flag. Definitely talk to Nicko or Gina at Boswell’s about what can be done with your bike, they’re pretty good people.

I went there around midday for a few hours, mainly to catch up with old buddies. I tell you what, I think the market for ARs has finally reached saturation point, as they aren’t moving much at any price. I saw a very nice Detonics Combat Master tucked away on someone’s table, and it was about the most interesting thing there beside my AR-180 that I carried around.

There is an RK show in Lebanon this weekend at the expo center. That’s a good venue for a gun show, and I hope to be there Saturday.
