RK gun show at the speedway this weekend if anyone’s interested. I went to a Great American show there a few months ago & it was a sad affair, but I wonder if a different promoter would attract different vendors or attendees.

As if you needed another reason to avoid Great American gun shows beforehand. They’ve been a consistent waste of time & gas, and the promoter is almost always having a verbal altercation with a vendor or attendee.

Pretty much. The guy with the surplus AK parts was there, a few interesting items were walking around, but it was a standard-issue middle TN summertime gun show. At least the idiot woman who zaps her stun guns constantly doesn’t attend them, or they made her finally stop.

*thump-thump* “…Is this thing on???” Decently crowded at the show today. Came to meet a friend so I wasn’t looking very hard for anything. It’s the usual bunch of dealers selling their usual bunch of stuff. The guy with the AK parts is here, if that’s your thing.

Supposed to be an RK show in Lebanon @ the expo center/fairgrounds this weekend.

Sweet, my tribal card is valid. I was wondering how much of a pain it would be to get my CDL switched over, since everything associated with the license takes longer & is more expensive.

Another Great American show in Clarksville this weekend. The last one at the speedway wasn’t very good due to poor AC & lighting, maybe this one will be better. Edit: It’s at the National Guard Armory on Fort Campbell boulevard.

Is it a decent show? I’m in west Nashville but might be up for a drive if it’s worth it.

RO show at the Murfreesboro expo center at the end of July. Summer shows in middle TN kinda suck.

RK gun show in Clarksville at the fairgrounds this weekend. Smaller shows in Manchester & Sparta, too. I wonder if the RK show is going to be any better than the Great American show that was held there a few weeks ago? That was a miserable show due to poor lighting, crowded conditions due to trying to cram as many tables into that small building as possible, and the non-existent air conditioning after 10am.

My MR920 Combat has 3 grip modules which change the grip angle, from ‘1911-ish’ to ‘Glock’. The sights line up best with the Glock angle for me, so the other 2 stay in the box.

I wonder if Lon Horiuchi’s spotter is still employed by Troy Industries. Dale Monroe testified during Senate hearings that he was 100% prepared to shoot Vicki Weaver, but Horiuchi fired first. Troy Asymmetric hired Monroe and then backed him when News came out about the man they’d hired as a trainer. Bad-mouthing Troy Industries gets people banned on other forums. Now that Troy is in Clarksville I wonder if they get the same scrutiny as they used to elsewhere.

I installed the ‘Glock-angle’ grip insert and removed the magwell. The pistol fits much better in my hand without it now. I’m considering a red dot & light for it now.

I owned a plain blued Tisas when they’re first were imported, and it fed and fired without any issues. I don’t see why their GI models would be any different.
