1. I have a friend who due to cranial rectal inversion neglected to renew about a year ago. Hasn't gone back thru the full process yet. That probably explains a lot of the 100,000, just neglected to renew.
2. Was your truck the only one broken into? If it was, there is a good chance it was an inside job. Why else would they only chose the one with several thousand dollars worth of easily pawnable items?
3. The Ooltewah store was out of .45 acp & 9 mm this morning. Only a couple of boxes of Reminton green box jhp for about $30. Guess I may need to check Gunbarrel & Brainerd later.
4. I understand. I had the same problem with chemistry (cc's, ml's, etc.)
5. from gcrookston All I remember now is 30 cal is approximately 9 mm... You might want to rethink that, my 30 cal is more like 7.62 mm and 9 mm a little closer .356 . But I too remember pre plastic litre bottles, and when coke cans were STEEL and required a church key to open.
6. My Ulta CDP & SIS run on anything I've fed them, mostly WWB & UMC 230 gr. Also no problems w/WWB 185 gr swc's or Golden Sabre.
7. Nice looking rig! If I were getting < moa, I don't think I would change about it. JMO
8. I know this video is about 5 yrs. old, but still relevant today. I remember when the event occured. It was at a Luby's cafeteria in Texas, their version of Piccadilly. Gun control..watch this!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> A LADY Educates U.S. Senators On The 2nd Amendment Even if you usually don't watch video clips, be sure to PLAY this one! Watch their faces as she speaks. She understands the 2nd Amendment in a way that they never will. Pass this clip to everyone you know. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4069761537893819675&p r=goog-sl THIS IS A WINNER!!!
9. 3" Kimber 1911 ultra. cocked & locked. IWB & OWB.
10. Get one larger than you think you need. You'll be amazed how soon you outgrow it.
11. $1.38 @ Ooltewah this PM. Sure beats $4.00
12. Just voted 59% 39% 2% not sure. I've always wondered why anyone would bother voting on something they had no opinion on or were not sure of.:screwy:
13. Sportsman's Warehouse has a very good gun dept., just not much inventory right now. They are about 1.5 mi. from Dick's, 153@ Lee Hwy.
14. Went to Dick's (what an approporate name ) yesterday, didn't have anything I wanted, but I could have bought them out for about $200. Sportsman Warehouse not much better on inventory, shelves about 80% empty in ammo & reloading supplies. Mgr. told me they got 100 pistols and revolvers in last week and they didn't last but 2 or 3 days.
15. That's what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, Sportsman's Warehouse is out of stock (along with a lot of other things)
16. Check out some of the lightweight 3" 1911's. Personal preference: Kimber Ultra CDP. 26 oz. empty wt., single stack (thin grips), 7 +1 magazine (if you need more than 8 shots, you have a bigger problem). With an IWB, you hardly know it's there.
17. You must buy premium. Everyone I saw was $1.56 about noon today. BTW, Steve Ray has prem. w/o ethanol. edit, just noticed your post was 11/8
18. I've got the LULA magazine loader/unloader for .223. Makes loading/unloading 30 rd. mags unbelievably easy. Now I need to find one for 1911 mags.

My guess is they forgot to program both numbers into their system. Didn't even bother to check this time. It's such a pitiful excuse of a gun/fishing dept. I don't even want to go back.
20. You answered 30 out of 33 correctly — 90.91 % Average score for this quiz during November: 78.0% Average score: 78.0%
21. There are no words to express my sympathies for what you and your wife are going through. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers and may God bless you and keep you.
22. Thanks for the link! Ordered a pair last night, plus some Frankford Arsenal "stuff"
23. I got up to PC about 3:30 and stayed until about 4:55. I was on the pistol range, 1st table as you walk in. Kind of got tired of listening 400# guy talking about his pistols, plus I wanted to get downtown before the traffic thinned out. Never got to rifle range, too many yoyo's w/their 22's wanting to check targets every 15 mins. I was surprised how many people were there today. Tomorrow is supposed to windy w/ a high of about 42.
