  1. Paladin had Hey Boy at the hotel. Don't know if they had anything else going on.
  2. Nope, not the ones from PC. Now if they were bump fireing it might be them.
  3. If you do lose it, a tiny allen wrench or straightened paper clip will suffice. And no I haven't lost mine (yet). I haven't had trouble with JHP's IF they are well rounded like Gold Dots and Golden Sabre.
  4. I'm guessing about 3 am.
  5. Man. That takes me a back LONG way. :D
  6. Give me a break. At 3 -7 yds. you almost have to try to not punch one ragged hole. Did he really think you might miss the entire target at that range?
  7. I've seen the gun, and if Philip hadn't told me, I would have thought it was a factory job.
  8. Directions and map are shown on website from earlier post.
  9. Here is a great link by Lone Oak. If you aren't totally confused by the time you get thru the list, you will have an appreciation of the number of options out there. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14977
  10. Yes, here is a link. Go to CHRPC for more info. http://www.rangeissafe.com/ There should be several TGOers there.
  11. Dick's on Gunbarrel has some Rem. in. 9mm,.40,.45acp and 223. Not cheap, but they did have it @ 3pm today.
  12. We had a boxer 40+ years ago who HATED all things feline. About once a year, he would get "lucky" and kill one and bring it home to show off. On those infrequent instances, we would get a couple of large cans of the cheapest tomato available and wash him. It worked just fine (I guess the acidity) until the next rain. Then it was repeat the process.
  13. Thanks for the link. I thought most of these were "urban legends". The thing that concerns me the most at this time is increasing the tax on ammunition to a punitive level. If it gets much higher, there is going to be a lot fewer 100 - 300 round days at the range.
  14. Protect their customer base. Makes sense to me. Or you could always get a customer account with them.
  15. The scary part of commercial RE is that most malls/retail centers are financed with 5-7 yr. notes (30 yr amort). When these start coming up to refi (15 to 20% a year), will the banks be willing to make another mortgage? If they don't, we will see multi million dollar foreclosures through the roof.
  16. +1 on the stiff belt. I bought a Filson double thick from Sportsman Whse. a couple of weeks ago (not going to tell you the size tho. ) It makes a TREMENDOUS difference carrying a Kimber Ultra in a Galco Royal Guard IWB or a 5" 1911 OWB.
  17. I'm in it and so are a couple of others I looked up!!
  18. Just got a Filson belt from Sportsman Whse. Double thickness and incredibly stiff, but wonderful support for a 1911.
  19. What's "NEED" got to do with it? If I only went to gunshops when I needed it, the economy would have missed out on several thousand dollars worth of needed "stimulus".
  20. Welcome and thanks for the links! One question though, I was looking at your range photos and wondered what happened to the trees??
  21. Planning to go to Cleveland around 1-2. Anyone who wants to meet, call me @ 313-3830 or PM me.
  22. My thoughts exactly. If someone cannot go to a good restaurant and have two drinks with dinner, then you will see them closing by the dozens. No good restaurant can survive on food sales alone. Don't believe it, go to a dry county and see how many good restaurants you can find.
  23. I have an Ultra CDP II. Love it. Light, easy to carry, accurate and dependable.
  24. Yeh, by a couple hundred thousand dollars:rolleyes:
